The person controlling the submarine was a middle-aged man in his fifties. He was not very tall and did not have any outstanding appearance, but his missing arm was the most distinctive feature of his entire being.
The crew usually call him Captain Lin, and some people call him Brother Da Meng because his original name is Lin Da Meng, and he used to be the captain of a cargo ship.
He has extensive experience in sailing ships, having been a sailor in his twenties and having over thirty years of sailing experience. He believes he has a thorough understanding of the sea.
He had only recently started learning about submarines. Although he wasn't very proficient, he had extensive experience in sailing ships, so learning to drive a submarine wasn't difficult for him.
He successfully became the chief commander of the submarines, and whenever they encountered a tough opponent, he could usually handle it.
Today he set off on a mission to find the behemoth that shot down seven ships in the sea a few hours ago. To deal with this behemoth, they have practically emptied their coffers this time, and the entire ship's combat compartment is crammed with all sorts of weapons.
The observers were intently watching their instruments, while he sat at the bow of the ship.
"Damn it, the water is even muddier than before, we can't see anything at all. Everyone be careful and watch out for a sneak attack from the giant beast."
He held a cigar in his left arm, staring out the window while keeping an eye on various instruments and issuing tasks from time to time.
Suddenly a bright light shone over. He thought it was one of the crew members holding a flashlight, but looking at the busy crowd, he realized that the light was coming from the sea.
A sudden jolt went through Lin Dameng; he had a bad feeling. He quickly put down his cigar and then instructed the crew to adjust their positions and detect the source of the light to prevent being ambushed.
But when he shone his light on it, he discovered a man in a diving suit in the distance, shining a flashlight in his direction.
"Huh? What's going on? There are people diving in the sea." Lin Dameng asked, his voice tinged with doubt, as he looked around.
Before anyone could see what was happening, they heard Lin Dameng's voice and quickly looked into the distance. Sure enough, they spotted a person in the sea some distance away.
"Should we get him up and see who he is?" someone suggested.
Lin Dameng rubbed his stubble-covered chin and pondered for a moment.
"Okay, let's bring him up. Be very careful and check if there are any other ambushes around here. Also, be on the lookout for any giant beasts. This person might be someone sent from the yacht to scout us out."
The crew members immediately took out guns laced with tranquilizers, loaded them into the launchers, and pulled the triggers. A thin white line appeared underwater, and the target was Lu Yuan.
Upon seeing the submarine, Lu Yuan was not only shocked, but he also did not expect that the other party had actually submerged to this location, which seemed to be the place where the giant beast roamed.
But now the giant beast is nowhere to be found. He wanted to put it into the dimensional space, but now he no longer had the chance. He secretly regretted not acting sooner.
Suddenly, he heard a faint sound coming from a ship in the distance. Lu Yuan held up his headlamp and shone it in the distance. He suddenly felt as if something was rushing toward him at breakneck speed, so he quickly adjusted his position.
Just as he was moving, he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his thigh, like being pricked by a needle. He tried to cry out, but because he had the mouthpiece of an oxygen tank in his mouth, he couldn't make a sound. He could only cover his leg and look down to see a needle-like object, more than ten centimeters long, stuck in his leg.
The syringe contained a milky white liquid that was being injected into him. Lu Yuan was shocked and quickly pulled it out. The liquid continued to seep out, but it immediately dissipated upon contact with seawater.
Suddenly, he felt something coming towards him. He tried to move his legs, but found that they had become numb, as if he had been squatting for too long. Then the numbness slowly began to spread to all parts of his body. Lu Yuan was shocked. He knew that this was a tranquilizer dart.
"Damn it."
Lu Yuan cursed inwardly. He quickly adjusted his position to avoid the other party's light, not wanting them to see him eating the golden fruit.
If the other party really saw how he could produce golden fruits with his bare hands, then this matter would be dangerous. He desperately swam to the side, but felt his strength slowly disappearing.
Then the submarine headed in his direction, and Lu Yuan felt his vision blur. He desperately bit his tongue, trying to make the sensation go away.
Suddenly, with a "gurgling" sound, his jaw seemed to lose some strength, causing the oxygen cylinder nozzle to slip out, and large mouthfuls of seawater poured into his mouth. Lu Yuan immediately regained some of his senses.
He reached out and gently took the nozzle. The oxygen in the oxygen cylinder was constantly bubbling out. He immediately put the nozzle in his mouth, inhaling oxygen while exhaling the seawater.
After a while, Lu Yuan felt a bitter taste in his mouth, but it was no longer seawater.
