Everyone was already impatient. They put down their wine glasses, picked up their chopsticks, and started scooping food out of the pot. Liu Mingming, sitting next to Lu Yuan, didn't know whether she should pick up her chopsticks or not. She just held the chopsticks in her hand like a wronged wife, constantly turning them around.
Lu Yuan picked up a piece of meat and put it in his mouth, then turned to look at Liu Mingming beside him.
"What are you standing there for? Aren't you going to eat it and take it all home? Do you think they'll give you the leftovers?"
When Liu Mingming was discovered, he was immediately embarrassed. He quickly picked up his chopsticks and reached into the pot, casually picking up two stalks of celery and stuffing them into his mouth. The taste of alcohol mixed with the aroma of soup and meat as he ate the green leaves filled his mouth, giving him a wave of satisfaction. He couldn't remember the last time he had eaten something good.
These are the dishes he picked up with his chopsticks. However, there wasn't much meat left in the pot. Miao Chengyun, disregarding his status, picked up his chopsticks and, holding his bowl, scooped all the meat from the pot into his own bowl.
Seeing the other party's lack of manners, Lu Yuan merely glanced at them coldly without saying anything. After all, Manager Chen hadn't said anything either. Lu Yuan lit a cigarette and sat down to watch their performance.
Soon, the food was finished, and both bottles of wine were gone. After waiting for a long time, Miao Chengyun coughed to cover up his embarrassment, and the meat that had been in his bowl had been stuffed somewhere else.
Lu Yuan raised his second glass of wine again, looked at everyone and said, "We're all in this together, it's not easy to get something to eat. I don't have any other intentions today, I just want to call you all friends. For the second glass, I plan to toast Manager Chen."
Lu Yuan turned his head and pointed his wine glass at Manager Chen, who was standing next to him. Manager Chen was taken aback and then put down his glass.
"Um, you can just call me Chen Linyu."

"Go find that guy from earlier and get him some food."

Some people around him mocked him, some envied him, and some asked him for favors. Chen Mingming was dizzy and couldn't hear anything clearly. He could only run out as fast as he could.
Fortunately, it was quite cold outside, and the gentle breeze made him feel much better. However, because he had drunk too much alcohol, he felt dizzy and his running was erratic, and he would occasionally trip and fall.
They found Xiwen, who burst into laughter upon seeing Chen Mingming's embarrassed state. Chen Mingming scratched his head sheepishly and explained the situation inside. Xiwen nodded and took out some more meat from his backpack before following Xiwen into the square.
They added more food to the pot, and the group had drunk their fill. Miao Chengyun, having drunk too much, was already fast asleep, slumped over the table, while the junior supervisor of the disciplinary team still looked uneasy, clearly busy with something.
Meanwhile, Manager Chen remained calm and composed, sipping his wine slowly. Lu Yuan was quite shocked, not expecting the other party to have such a high alcohol tolerance. He must have drunk at least one of those two bottles of baijiu by himself, yet he was still sober.
You should know that the wine Lu Yuan brewed was specially made to keep warm, and the alcohol content was over 70 degrees. Even if Lu Yuan himself drank it, he couldn't drink that much.
So Lu Yuan gently patted the junior supervisor of the other year's disciplinary team, and the other person immediately jumped up like a startled rabbit.
"Boss Miao is almost asleep. Why don't you take him back first, and I'll take Manager Chen there."
After hearing Lu Yuan's arrangement, the other party glanced at Supervisor Chen again, finally nodded, and then helped Miao Chengyun leave Pingfang.
Lu Yuan turned his head and glanced at Xi Wen outside. The other party immediately nodded and stood at the door as a doorman.
Looking at the empty bottles, Lu Yuan took another bottle out of the bag and placed it on the table.
Manager Chen finally put down his glass: "Brother Lu has had enough to drink. If he drinks any more, he won't be able to work in a little while."
Lu Yuan smiled slightly, put away the wine bottle, and then handed over his bag.
Manager Chen didn't refuse. He glanced at the bag out of the corner of his eye and found four bottles of good wine, but they were in wooden boxes with Wuliangye printed on them.
