Han Wen simply took a transparent plastic bag out of his pocket, which contained half a cigarette.
Lu Yuan took the plastic bag, glanced at it, and then asked softly, "What does this mean? Can a cigarette butt be used as a clue?"
Han Wen nodded, then looked around at the people.
Lu Yuan then waved his hand: "Everyone, disperse! I'll go get some food later! Everyone go home first!"
Everyone could only sigh and then return to their own residences.
Zhao Qian licked his lips slightly, a wicked glint in his eyes as he stared at Han Wen's buttocks for a long time.
Jiao Chuang looked at him and desperately wanted to warn Han Wen, but he didn't know what to say. He could only secretly hope that Han Wen wouldn't be fooled by Zhao Qian's appearance.
A group of people sat around the tent watching Lu Yuan.
"Sister Hanwen, tell me! What does this cigarette butt prove?"
Han Wen gently brushed a strand of hair behind his ear with his finger, then pointed to the cigarettes in the bag and said, "As far as I know, these are not the cigarettes we usually see, and the cigarettes in our camp don't have these kinds of butts. The crowd nodded silently, not because they understood, but because they had been drawn into Han Wen's reasoning.
Lu Yuan glanced at Han Wen and nodded inwardly. He admired this former senior agent of the intelligence organization even more. Her eyesight was too sharp. She could see even such a small detail. It was fortunate that she brought Han Wen with her, otherwise it would have been another troublesome matter. Now that they had evidence, it wouldn't be a problem to cause trouble and settle scores later.
However, when Lu Yuan thought of Han Wen again, he couldn't help but think of her son. Xiwen turned his head and looked around: "Not yet, they should have just arrived at Group Three's place!"
Lu Yuan nodded silently, then looked at the people in his camp and noticed that many of them were secretly glancing at him.
"Sigh! Never mind! I'll go along and see! Let's fill our stomachs first!"
Then Lu Yuan turned to the others and said, "Don't tell anyone outside about this! Just the few of us should know!"
Everyone nodded in agreement. After all, the fewer people who knew about this, the better. Otherwise, if it got back to other people, it would be troublesome and would have a serious impact on Lu Yuan's future plans.
Back in his tent, he noticed that Xiaoshan still had a sad expression on her face.
He gently put his arm around Xiaoshan's shoulder and patted her softly, comforting her, "It's alright, don't be sad! I definitely won't let this go so easily!"
