Upon hearing Lu Yuan's words, Mi Tingting was momentarily speechless.

The two then embraced, while Lu Yuan stood aside, dumbfounded.
Not long after, Mi Tingting finally swallowed everything in her mouth. Chen Ling then raised her head, looking at Lu Yuan with a hint of shyness on her face.
"Did you do this on purpose?"
Lu Yuan feigned innocence, shrugging his shoulders: "I had no such intention at all, please don't overthink it! Besides, Mi Tingting was almost dying just now, so I resorted to this desperate measure!"
After saying that, Lu Yuan lifted Mi Tingting's eyelids again to take a look. The strange red light from before had disappeared, and Mi Tingting looked like a sleeping baby with a trace of saliva still on the corner of her mouth.
"Ahem, I'll take her to her room first! You can tidy up here!"
Then, Lu Yuan picked up Mi Tingting and carried her back to her room, while Chen Ling silently cleaned up the leftover food on the table.
After finishing everything, the two sat on the sofa in silence.
After a long while, Chen Ling finally broke the silence.
"What...what exactly did you give Mi Tingting to eat? It tastes sweet, can it cure her illness?"
Lu Yuan nodded slightly: "It should be possible. If this thing can't cure Mi Tingting's illness, then it means that her illnesses are completely incurable!"
"Such a miraculous medicine? Um... I won't ask anymore! By the way, do you think I should take Tingting back with me?"
