"You...how did you get here?"
Lu Yuan glanced inside. The room wasn't very big; the two-bedroom apartment seemed a bit cramped. The room was messy, and there was a smell of cooking oil coming from inside. The floor seemed to have been uncleaned for a long time, and shoes were scattered all over the room.
"Oh, I've come to see you! I also brought some things for Auntie!"
Lin Tao glanced inside, then turned back with an embarrassed expression.

After saying that, Lin Tao took the package from the other party and invited Zheng Wei into the room.
The three of them sat in the room in an awkward silence.
To break the deadlock, Lu Yuan said to Zheng Wei, "Why don't you help Professor Lin tidy up his room first?"
Zheng Wei quickly nodded and was about to get up, but Lin Tao shook his head: "No need, anyway, the old lady is always tearing the house apart, there's nothing I can do. Even if you clean it up, it'll just get messed up again later!"

"Yes! There is a new project, but it's about livestock. It's not urgent, so this time I'd like you and Zheng Wei to handle it together!"
After speaking, Lu Yuan took out a document from his bag and handed it to the other person.
Although Lin Tao mainly studies plants, he still has some knowledge of animal research. When he heard Lu Yuan say that he would arrange a new research topic for him, he did not refuse. After taking the document and carefully reading it, he immediately nodded.
"No problem! I'll go pack up right away!" After saying that, the other person stood up and went to pack their things.
Lu Yuan quickly stopped him: "Don't rush. I've looked through your files before. Your research on animals might still be a bit lacking, so this time I plan to have Zheng Wei do the main research, and you can just assist from the side!"

"Ahem, the reason I asked Zheng Wei to lead the team is mainly because you're too busy with family matters. Lu Yuan, however, said nonchalantly, "What's there to be afraid of! I'm used to it! Besides, my skills are quite good! I'll take this opportunity to show off a couple of things! Alright! You should spend some time chatting with your boss! You can discuss which angle to start with!"
Ignoring the other party's obstruction, Lu Yuan tiptoed into the kitchen.
Zheng Wei, sitting on the sofa, blushed and lowered her head, not daring to look at Lin Tao.
On the way here, Lu Yuan had already told her that he had specially arranged this research project for them so that they could be together. Last night, Lu Yuan also told his family about it. After all, Zheng Wei was Lin Tao's student before, and she has a natural admiration and fear of him. Therefore, this method can effectively eliminate Zheng Wei's timidity. However, whether the other party can actually do it depends on Zheng Wei. But Lu Yuan believes that with his people in the breeding farm, even if Zheng Wei can't suppress the other party, Lu Yuan has ways to intervene and make Zheng Wei stronger.
