Then came responses from his subordinates. Lu Yuan peeked inside and saw that everyone was wearing a clean white lab coat. One person had his back to Lu Yuan and his hair was loose. He was obviously the leader of the group.
After speaking for a while, the man led everyone to continue the experiment. Lu Yuan waited for a long time at the corner outside the wall before quietly slipping out, his body always pressed against the wall.
Furthermore, Lu Yuan had made another preparation: if someone were to discover him, he would immediately retrieve his dimensional crystal.
Fortunately, the lab technicians inside did not check the surrounding area, and Lu Yuan breathed a sigh of relief. He carefully leaned in and went inside. Lu Yuan found that the room was filled with various large screens, which recorded some physical characteristics of organisms and various experimental data.
However, Lu Yuan couldn't understand these experimental data and biological characteristic line graphs. But these things reminded him of things in hospitals, only these were even more sophisticated than those in hospitals.
"What exactly is this place for? I wonder if it belongs to the All Things Company or a mutant organization!"
Lu Yuan looked around to make sure there were no alarm devices or monitoring devices inside before he breathed a sigh of relief.
He understood that this was specifically designed to prevent someone from sneaking in, obtaining the surveillance equipment, and leaking their information. However, this also provided Lu Yuan with great convenience.
He tiptoed around the area, searching for any useful clues, when suddenly a name caught Lu Yuan's eye on the computer screen.
"Chen Linyu? Damn it, is he involved again? Why is he everywhere?"
Lu Yuan was shocked. He couldn't understand why Chen Linyu, the company's vice president, had so much power. Not only did he have authority in the urban laboratory, but his authority also extended to the industrial zone. This made Lu Yuan's understanding of Chen Linyu change once again.
"I didn't expect this guy to be doing so well!"
Then Lu Yuan picked up the mouse and gently flipped through some documents, all of which were stored on the computer.
Lu Yuan had just seen Chen Linyu's name on the signature report at the back of a document.
Lu Yuan then flipped to the top of the document, where he saw a line of text in the title.
"Super Mutant Experiment Project! Top Secret!!"
Upon seeing this line of text, Lu Yuan was once again greatly shocked. The mutants were beyond his comprehension. He hadn't expected that the word "super" would be added here, which clearly meant that they were much stronger than ordinary mutants.
Lu Yuan wasn't sure exactly how bad it was, but he suspected that the people who had just run out of the fire were definitely their experimental subjects. These experimental subjects were probably super mutants.
To prevent anyone from suddenly coming in, Lu Yuan only glanced around casually, then took some photos with his phone before preparing to leave.
However, Lu Yuan didn't want to leave without understanding the situation, so he still wanted to find out more. He took a deep breath, looked around, and then headed towards the place where the lab technician had just walked.
As soon as I pushed open the door, I heard a series of piercing screams coming from inside. These sounds were similar to those from the battle that had just taken place. Although they came out of people's mouths, these sounds were filled with anger, despair, and madness.
After swallowing hard, Lu Yuan glanced inside and found no alarm devices. However, just to be on the safe side, he took out a pebble from his dimensional space and threw it forward.
The pebbles made a crisp sound as they fell to the ground, but it was insignificant compared to the shouts coming from inside. Fortunately, the lab technicians were focused on their work on the experiments in the laboratory and were completely unaware of what was happening outside. Lu Yuan felt much more at ease and then tiptoed inside.
When he went inside, he was hit by a strong stench that made his chest feel tight, like the smell of a rat that had been dead for who knows how long.
However, Lu Yuan gently held his breath and slowly moved inside. Finally, he arrived at the door of a laboratory completely sealed with a steel door. He saw a flashing red light on the door, and Lu Yuan guessed that an experiment was underway. So, Lu Yuan boldly continued to walk inside. There were more than a dozen similar iron doors, all of which had red lights on them.
The further Lu Yuan went, the faster his heart raced, because the eerie screams coming from the laboratory made his hair stand on end.
Finally, as they reached the corner, they came across a large iron gate. Inside the gate were various tools. Lu Yuan pressed his face against the iron gate and peered inside. Apart from a few tables and some cabinets, there was only a dark and smelly passageway.
After glancing at the gate, Lu Yuan noticed an electronic lock that required a card to enter. Since he didn't have a card, Lu Yuan decided to try to open the gate.
Just as Lu Yuan was trying to figure out a solution, he suddenly heard a beeping sound coming from the door of a laboratory. Lu Yuan quickly turned his head and saw that the red light on the steel laboratory door had turned green.
Then the gate slowly opened, and a handcart was pushed out first. Lu Yuan quickly crawled into the dimensional space, leaving only an inconspicuous hexahedral crystal on the ground in the corner.
