Lu Yuan nodded, then looked around at everyone: "Who among you is willing to stay here and turn on this switch?"
The few soldiers who were skilled in repairing circuits remained silent, and Zheng Hai kept his head down and didn't speak.
Lu Yuan sighed. In fact, he already had someone in mind. After all, those who stayed here would not be able to go with him. As for what would happen next, everyone was very clear about it. Little Thirteen smiled and said, "Okay! No problem! Leave this to me!"
Then Lu Yuan patted the other person on the shoulder and waved to the crowd.
"Go! Charge in!"
When they arrived at Xiaoshan's room, Lu Yuan glanced at her and noticed that she hadn't woken up yet, so he immediately picked her up and held her in his arms.
The group stopped looking back and ran straight toward the broken ladder.
Upon arriving at the location, Lu Yuan was the first to jump down. The smoke downstairs was almost dissipating, and the super mutants had basically all gathered there.
Blood was flowing everywhere on the ground, and Lu Yuanshen stepped over the corpses with uneven feet.
"Charge! Quickly lead all the survivors inside! I'll guard the gate here!"
Lu Yuan stood in front of the corridor door, holding an axe, and shouted to everyone.
Exhausted, Shen Hu and the others opened their eyes and looked over when they saw Lu Yuan return.
"You guys with guns! One of you! Take all my brothers inside! Now!"
The soldiers no longer cared whether they were enemies or not, because their biggest enemy now was the super mutants. Only after eliminating these super mutants would they have time to sort out their relationships properly. At this stage, the only way for everyone to survive was to unite.
Lu Yuan and Da Huang stood in front of the door, fighting and retreating as the super mutants kept trying to rush in. They didn't stop until they reached the other end of the corridor.

Lu Yuan gritted his teeth and looked at the axe with its bent handle. A feeling of exhaustion washed over him. Lu Yuan kicked a super mutant away. The mutant had just grabbed Lu Yuan's chest, and now the skin on his chest was burning with pain.
"Ten seconds!"
Nine seconds!
"..."
One second!
Lu Yuan watched as time kept changing, his eyes fixed on the long corridor of lasers in front of him.
Finally, the lights in the corridor suddenly turned on.
Lu Yuan couldn't help but shield his eyes with his arm, while the super mutant, completely unfazed by the bright light, lunged at Lu Yuan. Da Huang was covered in blood, and Lu Yuan couldn't tell whether the wounds were from Da Huang or from the enemy.
Big Yellow charged forward and bit the super mutant's neck with a sharp "crack." The super mutant's neck lolled to the side, and it died instantly.
As Lu Yuan lay on the ground looking at Da Huang, a slight smile crept onto his lips.
"You brat! After resting for so long, it's finally your turn to work! Whew! I'm exhausted! Why isn't this laser starting up yet?"
As they were talking, Lu Yuan suddenly felt the light in the long corridor in the distance begin to slowly turn red, and the temperature around him seemed to rise all at once.
The entire corridor was filled with super mutants trying to break in.
However, in the very next second, the preheating of the laser finally ended, and with a "whoosh," the laser emitted a dazzling red light.
The red light, like an indestructible sword, pierced directly through the body of the super mutant in the passage.
"Roar~"
The super mutant beasts throughout the corridor began to scream in agony.
Then, the laser beams began to cut continuously.
In an instant, Lu Yuan seemed to smell a strong aroma of roasted meat.
All the super mutants in the entire passage were reduced to fragments by the laser beams.
Seeing the horrific scene inside, Lu Yuan's heart trembled.
"Phew! That was terrifying! Thank goodness it wasn't one of ours! Otherwise, if this thing really appeared, we wouldn't even know how we died!"
