Two days later, Lu Yuan was busy reviewing the collected reports when his phone suddenly rang.
Lu Yuan glanced at it and immediately picked up the phone and pressed the answer button.
"Sister Hanwen! Have you arrived?"
A cheerful Korean voice came from the other end of the phone: "Yes! We're here! We're ready to leave! We're about ten kilometers away from the outer perimeter of the city's fortress! You can come over after we pass the checkpoint!"

Lu Yuan didn't want to argue with them, so he opened the car door, looked at them, and then raised his hands to avoid any misunderstanding, explaining, "Sir! I'm here to pick someone up! I'll just stop here for a bit, pick them up, and then leave!"
The other person frowned slightly: "Picking someone up? Who would be willing to come back from the city center these days? Kid, have you been infected?"
Lu Yuan smiled and said, "How could that be! A fortress has already been built in the industrial zone! There's no danger at all! We have plenty of food and drink! Why can't we come?"
The officer standing atop the fortress was taken aback upon hearing Lu Yuan's words: "Are you kidding me?! Let me tell you! Get out of here! Or don't blame us for being impolite!"
Seeing that the other party was being so disrespectful, Lu Yuan sighed and said, "Alright! Then tell me, what areas are not under your jurisdiction?"
The other person pointed to an abandoned makeshift tent in the distance: "Go wait behind that place! Let me make this clear! Even if you encounter a super mutant, we won't help you! You should get back to your safe zone as soon as possible!"
"Hehe! Thanks for the reminder, sir! I'm perfectly fine!"
After saying that, Lu Yuan got into the car and drove to the tent to wait.
