The elevator stopped on the 75th floor with a "ding".
The entrance was still the same small square, and Lu Yuan stood in the center of the square and looked at the sign above his head.
Many shops around here have already closed down.
The zombie crisis has left this place desolate, with the only sounds coming from the Wanwu Company around the corner not far away.
Lu Yuan slowly walked towards the direction of Wanwu Company.
Upon approaching, a robot at the entrance scanned Lu Yuan, and only opened the door after confirming that there was no danger.
As Lu Yuan entered the lobby, he glanced inside and found it to be much the same as the last time he had seen it: a large reception desk with a drowsy hostess standing there, and several cleaners aimlessly cleaning the rooms.
However, everything looked so desolate, as if it were on its last legs.
Lu Yuan cleared his throat to signal that he had come in.
The receptionist looked up at Lu Yuan, then asked in a disgruntled voice, "What are you doing here? Wanwu Company doesn't accept external cooperation right now!"
Lu Yuan was stunned. He hadn't expected the receptionist to be so disrespectful. He had come here for revenge!
"I'm looking for your boss, is Chen Linyu here?"
"Oh, you're looking for General Manager Chen! Go to the third floor!"
After saying that, the other person continued to look down at the novel, seemingly not intending to talk to Lu Yuan any further.
Lu Yuan touched his nose and walked helplessly toward the third floor.
Along the way, Lu Yuan expected to encounter some guards or similar personnel, but there didn't seem to be many. Although there were a few guards, they didn't seem to be very interested in Lu Yuan's arrival. They were either sitting to the side chatting or dozing off.
Helpless, Lu Yuan could only continue walking towards the laboratory on the third floor.
Upon arriving at the laboratory's main entrance, Lu Yuan saw the open door, revealing a chaotic scene inside.
"Huh? What happened? How did it get like this in the middle?"
Lu Yuan was a little puzzled. The last time he came to Wanwu Company, the place was very heavily guarded, but now there wasn't even a single security guard.
