With each centimeter that rose, Lu Yuan could feel his heartbeat quickening.
Suddenly, a piece of wood floated by in the distance.
Lu Yuan angrily wanted to kick the wood away, but suddenly several huge white mutated termites on the wood caught his attention.
"Mutant termites? That's right! Mutant termites!"

So, Lu Yuan rowed his boat around searching for termites floating in the water. Before long, the instant noodle box was full of termites.
Seeing so many termites fighting back and forth inside the box, Lu Yuan immediately picked up the box and walked along the excavator's mechanical arm.
Lu Yuan gently sat on the robotic arm and covered the area he had just carved out with the box.
Deprived of their living space, the termites frantically scurried about, but the plastic box was a material that the termites' formic acid could not penetrate. All they could do was keep prying open the concrete and steel bars.
Lu Yuan reached out and pressed down on the box, and he could already feel the power of the termites. These sturdy structures seemed almost vulnerable under the strong formic acid from the termites.
A series of crumbly sounds came from inside the box.
Lu Yuan shone his flashlight on the anthill and saw that the termites had already gnawed through to a depth of nearly 30 centimeters in just five minutes.
"Haha! This one is really powerful! But we'll have to kill them all eventually! Keeping them around is just asking for trouble!"
Lu Yuan continued pushing the box inside, glancing back every now and then.
The water level is rising higher and higher, and now the entire track section of the excavator is completely submerged in the floodwaters.
"Damn! They got in that fast?"
Lu Yuan felt anxious, but he couldn't just chisel open the hole, so he could only let the termites slowly erode the concrete layer inside.
Another half hour passed, and water had entered the excavator's cab. Fortunately, the place where Lu Yuan had dug was more than two meters above the ground.
