With a sudden thought, Hei Zi immediately covered the curtain, then lifted the side to take a look.
Behind the curtain, a thin stream of water was seen flowing outwards under strong water pressure.
The water column wasn't very big yet, but after Kuroko lifted the curtain, she discovered that a crack had appeared in the center.
However, the solution had not yet completely dissolved; the crack was purely caused by the powerful water pressure.
Upon seeing this, Hei Zi immediately felt his brow twitching.
"Holy crap! Holy crap! Did they cut corners? Is there a hole inside?"
For a moment, Kuroko was filled with a myriad of thoughts, but then he shook his head to suppress them.
The most urgent task now is to plug the hole as soon as possible to prevent water from coming out, since such a small opening can only fit a finger at most.
So Kuroko looked around and decided to block the area with concrete first, and then open it up himself after all the surrounding solution had melted through.
Without further ado, Hei Zi immediately prepared to move the things.
However, just as he got up, he heard a series of orderly footsteps coming from afar.
"Damn it! Why did they have to come now of all times?"
After glancing at the patrol troops in the distance, Kuroko immediately crouched down and hid behind them.
But then he immediately noticed that he had lifted a corner of the curtain to check it, and hadn't had time to cover it up yet.
"Oh no! Oh no!"
Hei Zi had a bad feeling and pinched himself hard to calm his tense mood.
After taking a deep breath, Kuroko glanced at the distance of the patrol team in the distance, then dashed over and quickly covered one corner of the curtain.
At that moment, the patrol team had already arrived.
"You two go over there and check the condition of the concrete wall, then come back and fill out a report!"
The patrol captain spoke to the two soldiers beside him.
The two soldiers immediately saluted and left the patrol, while the others went to the vicinity to inspect some things. Taking advantage of this opportunity, the patrol captain took out a cigarette and lit it.
Two soldiers went together to the concrete-walled water tank for a routine inspection. Several days had passed since then, but they had not found anything wrong, so they did not take it seriously.
Upon reaching them, the two soldiers exchanged a glance and immediately took out cigarettes and lit them.
Everyone is in the same boat right now. This place is already so secure that they don't think it's necessary to take such strict precautions.
However, since this is the money we're making, inspections are still necessary, but a quick look is enough; there's no need to rush in for a thorough check like before.
So the two of them took out cigarettes, lit them, and took a deep drag. One of the soldiers said, "Brother, go check it out! I'll keep watch here for you!"
"Okay! Make sure you keep a close eye on things for me! If the captain comes over, give me a heads-up!"
"Alright! We've been working together for so long! What are you worried about? Go on!"
After saying that, the soldier glanced in the distance and said, "Go on! The captain smokes too!"
The soldier nodded and looked into the reservoir.
After confirming that there was nothing on the wall, he was about to turn around, but he felt like something was wrong.
"Hmm? Why does it look like water is flowing on that wall? Or am I seeing things?"
With that in mind, the soldier went around the perimeter of the reservoir again to take a look.
Upon arrival, the soldiers were immediately shocked by what they saw.
The intact wall was somehow "wet".
There was a layer of water on the ground, but there were no signs of damage on the walls.
He scratched his head and rubbed his eyes, thinking it was because he hadn't slept well the night before.
But the more I looked at the wall, the more something seemed off; there appeared to be a small dot on it that was constantly swaying.
"Huh? That's..."
Just then, a crisp sound came from the wall.
Then, a powerful jet of water shot out, and the disguised curtain on the wall could not withstand the strong water pressure and was washed down.
"Holy crap! Oh no! The wall's broken!"
Upon seeing this, the soldier immediately shouted loudly.
The soldiers on guard duty on the perimeter were taken aback when they heard the noise. Once they realized the voice was coming from their comrades, they immediately stubbed out their cigarettes and ran over as fast as they could.
"What's wrong? What's wrong? What's broken?"
Without the curtain to restrain it, the water jet began to spray outwards like a high-pressure water gun.
A powerful jet of water sprayed directly onto the protective reservoir, making a hissing sound.
The two soldiers were completely dumbfounded when they saw this.
"Don't just stand there, go and call for help!"
One soldier reacted and immediately prepared to call for help, while another soldier quickly pulled the other person back.
"Damn it! Who are you calling for! Just turn on the alarm!"
"Oh! Yes, yes, yes! Sound the alarm!"
"Woo woo woo~" A series of urgent alarm sounds immediately rang out.
Standing on the wall, Kuroko felt a chill run down his spine. He dared not move, for if he did, he would be discovered immediately. But if he did not move, he would be discovered sooner or later.
"What to do? What to do?"
Kuroko was extremely anxious and began to think of a solution, but suddenly a bright light flashed in the water at the bottom of the reservoir.
