After walking for a short while, they came across a guard post. Upon seeing Lu Yuan, several people on the post immediately approached.
"Stop right there, you!"
Lu Yuan turned his head and glanced at them. The two men were immediately startled. The reporters hurriedly prepared to grab their guns, but Lu Yuan didn't give them a chance to move forward. He kicked the two men over, took the pistols, and held them to their foreheads.
"I have some important business to attend to. If you dare to stop me again, I promise you'll regret it!"
The two men stared blankly as Lu Yuan left, but they didn't rush after him, because they were afraid of being caught.
Upon arriving at the Long Group building, Lu Yuan first looked around. Everyone who entered was wearing a work badge.
Moreover, there didn't seem to be anyone checking inside, so Lu Yuan quietly took out an employee ID card from the Long Group that he had obtained before.
With a beep, an electronically synthesized welcome message came from the access control system.
Lu Yuan could only express his deep sympathy for the Long Group's lax inspection.
Lu Yuan took out his phone and glanced at the location Feng Yuanheng had sent him. He walked to the elevator, but just as he was about to go down, he realized that the elevator didn't seem very safe, so he chose to take the stairs.
The temperature dropped even more as you went down, and the doors to the emergency exits were all closed, but not locked.
After walking up a few steps, Lu Yuan tested the door and finally reached about the seventh basement level. Instead of opening the door immediately, Lu Yuan pressed his face against it and listened quietly to the sounds outside.
The sound of several people walking came from behind the door. The footsteps were very orderly, sounding like a patrol unit.
After waiting for about ten minutes, Lu Yuan heard another series of neat footsteps. He knew that this must be the patrol team in the basement.
