Upon hearing the word "termites," Lu Yuan immediately thought of what had happened in the urban area before.
Termites are like creatures that can get into anything, leaving virtually nothing behind wherever they go.

Some buildings looked as if they had been weathered, with holes and cracks all over the walls. Termite extermination equipment was scattered on the ground, some of which were relatively new and had obviously been killed by termites before they were even used.
Upon seeing this scene, Lu Yuan felt a surge of tension. He was alone now and couldn't move forward with the others as he had in the cave before. Moreover, the ground in the middle level was very open, so finding a concentrated spot to eliminate the termites was practically impossible.
Once these termites get into the entrance, they will have no way to protect the place.
Lu Yuan parked the car in front of the garrison camp, then jumped out and looked around. The termite colony nearby had obviously left a long time ago, leaving the area riddled with holes.

Finding no clues nearby, Lu Yuan had no choice but to abandon the place and get back in the car to continue heading towards the city center.
After driving for more than ten minutes, the car finally entered the core area of the middle level.
