Then the other side started counting down, but the footsteps in the crowd seemed to have taken a few steps back, and then someone shouted loudly.

These words immediately caused a commotion, and then everyone began to criticize Long Yue for his inaction and decision to abandon them. The group drew closer and closer together, and the captain finally couldn't hold back any longer.

The car continued moving forward, and Lu Yuan felt a wet patch on his back, but he couldn't let go of his hand to check, because if he did, he might fall under the car.
Lu Yuan secretly guessed that his back must already be covered in blood.
The car lurched left and right all the way without any sign of braking. Lu Yuan looked up at the time and saw that ten minutes had passed, and the car was still moving forward at top speed.
Lu Yuan muttered to himself, "We should be getting close to the entrance to the upper floors."
At that moment, the car in front suddenly braked hard, and the car behind couldn't react in time and crashed into it.
The armored vehicle that Lu Yuan was in didn't react in time and crashed into the other vehicles, resulting in a pile-up of more than a dozen vehicles.
Lu Yuan felt that his hands could no longer hold onto the steel frame of the chassis armor, and his whole body slid off from under the car.

When the convoy rushed to the back to check, they discovered that the Earth's core had been lost sometime during the war.
"No, the Earth Core Crystal is missing. We must retrieve it immediately! Teams one, two, and three, come with me! The rest of the teams, take the main road!"
The squad leader was dismayed to find the crystal missing. He secretly regretted that his negligence had led to the loss of the item.
If they try to retrieve it now, it might affect their evacuation time, and they don't have much time left.
Lu Yuan found a gap in the wall and looked into the distance.
The team members quickly turned their vehicle around and drove off in the opposite direction, seemingly disregarding their own affairs. Lu Yuan secretly guessed that they must have lost something, and Chu Dafa couldn't think of anything else that could make them so panicked except for the Earth Core Crystal.
The only people who were able to obtain the Earth's core crystal were the groups of people they encountered along the way.
Lu Yuan took a deep breath: "Damn, these people aren't blocking the way to follow me to the higher levels, they're here specifically for this Earth Core Crystal!"
So Lu Yuan took a deep breath, glanced in their direction, and then strode quickly back the way he had come.
Soon, Lu Yuan found an abandoned motorcycle by the roadside. After a brief inspection, he found that the motorcycle was still usable, but the fuel level was low.
Without thinking, he started the car and chased after them in the direction they had gone.
Because he had been under the car the whole time, Lu Yuan had no idea where they had been. He could only follow quietly behind them, hanging not far away from them to avoid being discovered.
Finally, the convoy arrived at the location where they had just encountered the group that had blocked Lu Yuan's path.
The place was littered with corpses, and Lu Yuan recognized it at a glance.
The squad leader held a locator in his hand, looked at it, and then pointed in a direction in the distance.
"The Earth Core is in that location! Everyone, charge! We must retrieve the Earth Core as quickly as possible. If we encounter any obstacles, eliminate them all!"
The team members below responded in unison, but Lu Yuan was too far away to hear them, though he could still see the direction of their movements.
"It seems they went to that place to search! But what use would they have for this Earth Core Crystal? Would the higher-ups give them a chance to enter the higher ranks if they wanted this thing?"
