After hearing Lu Yuan's statement, Jiang Tu remained silent for a moment, then held the microphone and said, "Could you please send me the blueprints for that area? I want to see them. After all, I can't make any judgments without seeing the actual terrain!"
“Okay, then tell Song Qiang now that you will be his assistant from now on. I will contact you anytime. Tell him to wait while I go find someone to send you the blueprints here!”
After Lu Yuan hung up the phone, he summoned the bald man again.
Throughout the entire underground fortress, Lu Yuan had never heard of any outstanding geological experts; they were all either self-taught or had only a superficial understanding of geology.
Many of these experts are just people who have titles but no real skills. Lu Yuan completely disregards such experts. However, after hearing Jiang Tu's words, Lu Yuan had a feeling that this person was the real expert, not just someone with a hollow reputation.
Then Lu Yuan asked the bald Jiang Tu to send him the drawings, and then took pictures of each of them and sent them to Song Qiang. About an hour later, the phone rang again, and Jiang Tu's voice carried a hint of doubt.
"Mr. Lu! I've looked at the drawings you sent me, and something seems off!"
Lu Yuan was slightly taken aback and quickly asked, "Is something wrong?"
"Um...I...I don't really know about that right now. Maybe I can tell you after I get there. By the way, could you please pause your excavation work for now? I strongly suspect there might be some landslides up there!"
Lu Yuan remained silent for a moment, then turned his head and looked towards the excavation area.
"How about this? Our excavation work here can't stop for now. I'll come over and pick you up, and you can take care of things over there!"
"No problem, I'll wait for you here!"
After hanging up the phone, Lu Yuan put it away and looked down at the time. It was already 10 o'clock, almost lunchtime. Lu Yuan didn't care about lunch at the moment. After packing his things, he ran towards the industrial area.
Finally arriving at the rift valley, Lu Yuan shone his flashlight into the distance. After a short while, a flashlight beam came from the other side, indicating that they had received his message.
Then Lu Yuan looked at the wall and found that the rivets and other things he had left behind were left by the nail gun. Lu Yuan did not remove them. He sprang across the rope again and reached the other side, where Song Qiang and a group of people surrounded him.
"Mr. Lu!"
Lu Yuan nodded slightly, then looked into the crowd: "Where's Jiang Tu? Where is he?"
A middle-aged man of medium build, thin and with graying hair, who was standing next to Song Qiang, stepped out.
His face was dirty, and his eyes were cloudy, like those of a frail old man. His whole expression looked very old, but he looked only forty or fifty years old, yet he looked like a seventy or eighty-year-old man on the verge of death.
"Mr. Lu, I am Jiang Tu!"
The other person extended their hand slightly, somewhat timidly. Lu Yuan looked at the other person and then nodded gently.
"Come with me!"
Jiang Tu obediently followed Lu Yuan to a secluded place. Then Lu Yuan looked at him and said, "Can you come up with a way to solve the landslide problem in that area?"
"Hmm, it should be possible, but I need to check the geological conditions there first. After all, I feel there's something strange about the rock layer; it seems like it was man-made!"
"Okay, I'll take you there now and let's see how the work arrangements are going."
"Oh, I've already given the instructions for the bridge's construction. If they just follow my instructions, they should be able to build a simple bridge in about a week!"
"That's good. Let's not delay, let's go now!"
Then, Lu Yuan flicked his finger and sent Jiang Tu into the dimensional space. He then walked up to Song Qiang and looked at everyone: "Are the people from the Long Group still behaving themselves?"
"Yes, that's good. They're behaving quite well now and don't have any ulterior motives. They're just focused on their work. However, their enthusiasm for their work isn't very high, so we need to keep them on track!"
"Well, these things are actually easy to solve. Once we control their food supply, we can distribute it according to their workload each day. I don't believe they have a grudge against food!"
Song Qiang's face immediately lit up with joy: "Okay, okay, I'll make the arrangements right now. Um, Mr. Lu, how about we have lunch here?"
Lu Yuan waved his hand to decline the other party's offer, and then prepared to leave.
Suddenly, he noticed someone staring at him from the crowd. When Lu Yuan glanced at them, the person made eye contact with him and then disappeared into the crowd.
"Hmph, Chen Han, I never thought he'd fallen so low!"
Lu Yuan confirmed that the person he had just seen was Chen Han.
Chen Han, like a shifty-eyed rat, stared at Lu Yuan for a while before leaving. Lu Yuan could clearly sense a hint of anger, resentment, and helplessness in Chen Han's eyes.
Lu Yuan ignored Chen Han, turned around, grabbed the rope again, and swung across.
Just after Lu Yuan summoned Jiang Tu from the dimensional space, a sudden, earth-shaking tremor came from the ground, followed by a rumbling sound in the distance.
