Chapter 740 Deputy Chief

Then Lu Yuan chatted with Fang Yuan for a while longer.

Lu Yuan glanced at the time, and when he felt it was about time, he waved to Zhou Tong and Fang Yuan.

"It's almost time, we should go."

Fang Yuan nodded immediately, then quickly ran to a nearby spot and dragged a heavy suitcase over.

"These are all photography equipment, and I need to bring them with me."

Seeing that the other person had many bags, Lu Yuan helped them pick up one of the packages. Then, with a wave of his hand, the three of them disappeared from the spot.

Once again in the icy wilderness, Fang Yuan couldn't bear the cold any longer and shivered uncontrollably.

"Are you alright? Why don't you get some warmer clothes to wear?"

Fang Yuan's lips trembled slightly, but she shook her head resolutely: "No need. If we keep waiting like this, we'll miss out on good photography subjects. We don't know where these primitive people will go."

Let's hurry and find them, because these ancient Native Americans usually like to migrate! Who knows where their next destination will be?

Lu Yuan nodded slightly, and then he and Zhou Tong helped the other party carry their luggage. Fang Yuan was fiddling with a video camera in her hand, and after a short while, she looked up.

"Sorry, it was too cold. The camera had a minor malfunction, but we just fixed it and it's working fine now."

"That's good. Let's hurry up and go. I hope they haven't gone far. I wonder if these people even know where they can find a suitable place to live?"

Fang Yuan smoothed her hair with her hand and then pulled her hat down further.

"The ancient Native Americans were very familiar with the entire American continent. After all, as the indigenous people of the Americas, they must have known which places were more suitable for survival."

People from the United States have lived here for so long, yet they still haven't fully explored the entire territory, so we still have many opportunities ahead of us!

The three walked and talked when they suddenly heard a knocking sound in the distance. Lu Yuan nodded to Fang Yuan and pointed to the distance.

"We've reached the tribes of these ancient Native Americans. It seems they haven't moved away after all!"

Lu Yuan turned to look at Zhou Tong and Fang Yuan: "How about I go over and explain the situation to them first? Otherwise, taking you there rashly might cause some trouble!"

Fang Yuan waved her hand slightly: "It's alright. The ancient Indians are very hospitable. They shouldn't refuse us. As long as we don't act like invaders, we shouldn't be attacked by them! Besides, you got along well with them a few days ago!"

Looking at the confident expression on Fang Yuan's face, Lu Yuan turned to look at Zhou Tong, who shrugged slightly: "Let's listen to Reporter Fang. After all, she has a more thorough understanding of ancient Native Americans. Or should I put the gun away?"

Lu Yuan nodded slightly: "Alright, put the gun away to avoid any misunderstandings. After all, we captured you before and then you escaped. If you come back now, it could cause a misunderstanding. Be careful. If anything goes wrong, I'll send you into the dimensional space immediately!"

So Lu Yuan led the two towards the tribe. Before they arrived, they heard footsteps all around them, followed by a series of obscure and incomprehensible words coming from behind them.

Fang Yuan immediately shouted, "Put your hands up first to show them that we don't have any weapons, so they won't attack us easily!"

Zhou Tong and Fang Yuan immediately raised their hands, while Lu Yuan spread his hands, holding the string of animal teeth necklace, and waved to the primitive man behind him.

The two primitive men, holding torches, got closer and finally saw what Lu Yuan looked like. A look of excitement immediately appeared on their faces.

Then the two primitive men put away their spears and walked towards Lu Yuan, muttering a series of incomprehensible words in front of him.

"They're saying, 'Warriors, you're back!' They thought you weren't coming back!"

Fang Yuan thought for a while before explaining, and Lu Yuan breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing her words.

"Tell them that I need to see their chief now!"

Fang Yuan then raised her hands and spoke a series of words to the two savages dressed in animal skins. When the two savages saw that Fang Yuan could speak their language, they were immediately surprised and gripped their spears tightly.

Seeing their expressions and actions, Lu Yuan couldn't help but put his hand into his pocket. Although he got along fairly well with these primitive people, there was a possibility of accidental injury if a conflict broke out. To prevent this, Lu Yuan planned to take out his gun as a warning if a real crisis occurred.

Fortunately, Fang Yuan could understand them, and after a series of explanations, the two primitive people finally relaxed their guard.

They told us to come over!

Lu Yuan nodded to Zhou Tong, then followed the two primitive men toward the tribe.

Upon arriving at the tribe and seeing Lu Yuan return, everyone immediately surrounded him again, excitedly waving their spears.

Another savage, who had gone to inform the chief, ran back from a distance, followed by an old man with a cane and the chief.

When the burly chieftain saw Lu Yuan return with his men, a look of shock appeared on his face, especially when he saw Zhou Tong, a clear hint of wariness showed in his eyes.
