Chapter 757 The Plane is Hit

The team member nodded quickly, opened the map he had saved earlier, searched through it for a while, and was about to point to a mine and tell the captain when suddenly a huge roar came from above.

Almost everyone lay prone on the ground. The bright lights from the transport plane shone on them. Lu Yuan sat in front of the cabin door, picked up a rifle, and fired a few shots at the crowd below.

Because he was firing haphazardly, the bullets had long since disappeared into who-knows-where, and Lu Yuan simply emptied one magazine before retracting it.

Zhou Tong smiled and said to Lu Yuan, "Brother, mission accomplished. We're going to flank them now!"

Lu Yuan also had a happy expression on his face. He put the rifle on the chair next to him, then picked up his water glass, took a small sip, and watched the helicopter fly away in the direction behind him.

After going around in circles with them, no one knew where the helicopter came from or where it was going. They just felt that Freeman's disappearance must be related to this transport plane.

The captain quickly picked up the walkie-talkie and reported the situation to Charles. When General Charles heard about it, he flew into a rage and slammed his fist on the table.

"Damn it! You idiots! They escaped and got kidnapped. How did they find reinforcements? And where did they get the helicopter from, with monsters everywhere outside?"

"Quickly search the area for their signal. If you find it, shoot down their helicopter. We missed last time; we can't afford to miss again!"

Those below quickly got to work, devising a specific plan for capturing the transport plane.

Charles, his face grim, stared at the map on the wall and began to ponder.

Zhou Tong piloted the helicopter for dozens of kilometers before finally arriving at a place about ten kilometers behind that small town.

"We can't fly any further. If we do, we might get into their encirclement. Let's land the plane here and walk over!"

Lu Yuan nodded, having no objections. After all, Zhou Tong came from the special forces and was adept at handling such matters. Lu Yuan felt there was no need for him to show off at this time.

So Zhou Tong began to adjust the plane's altitude and slowly descend. Suddenly, Lu Yuan felt as if a bright light had flashed in the distance, so he quickly leaned out the window and looked into the distance.

Then the flames grew brighter and brighter, and Lu Yuan immediately shouted, "Oh no! There are shells!"

Zhou Tong was slightly taken aback, but before he could react, a loud explosion came from the tail of the plane.

With a loud "boom," the transport plane began to sway violently.

"Damn it, they spotted us again. Time to parachute!"

Lu Yuan felt a pang in his heart. Looking at the almost broken tail of the plane, he had no choice but to open the cabin door, put on his parachute, and jump out of the plane with Zhou Tong. However, at the moment of jumping, Lu Yuan still managed to put the transport plane into his dimensional space.

Then Lu Yuan felt the wind whistling against his face. They were at an altitude of about 1,000 meters. He didn't know why the United States allowed him to spot them at such an altitude.

They had turned off all electronic devices to avoid being discovered, but despite their careful planning, they still encountered an attack, which left Lu Yuan puzzled.

Zhou Tong was also completely bewildered. He simply couldn't believe that he had made thorough preparations, yet he had still been discovered by the enemy. He secretly felt a little regretful.

Thinking to himself why he hadn't chosen a farther landing distance earlier, he regretted everything he thought about now, and could only continue falling with a gloomy face.

When the two of them reached an altitude of about 300 meters, Zhou Tong gave Lu Yuan a thumbs up, and then the two of them opened their parachutes. However, at the moment the parachutes opened, Lu Yuan seemed to see some scattered points of light flashing from a distance.

Then it felt like a bullet was whizzing past my ear.

The sound of "whoosh whoosh whoosh" kept coming. Then Lu Yuan felt that the parachute seemed to have shifted a bit. He looked up and saw that the top of the parachute had been shot through several holes.

As the descent accelerated, the holes were torn wider and wider by the fierce wind. Seeing this, Zhou Tong quickly adjusted his position and pulled Lu Yuan back.

"Oh no, it's too dangerous here! Let's go down together, you don't need your parachute!"

Zhou Tong shouted loudly as he helped Lu Yuan remove his parachute.

The moment the parachute detached from his waist, Lu Yuan felt a sudden heaviness in his body, but fortunately Zhou Tong grabbed him, so it didn't affect him much.

Lu Yuan was dragged along by Zhou Tong and slowly descended towards the ground. When they finally reached the ground, the light of a flashlight and the sound of gunfire came from afar again.

"Sorry, brother, I misjudged this time!"

Zhou Tong looked regretful, while Lu Yuan waved his hand and said, "Old Zhou, this has nothing to do with you. We don't know their specific situation. We didn't expect them to be lying in ambush here. Now is not the time to talk about this. We must escape quickly. These people will be catching up soon!"

Zhou Tong gritted his teeth in hatred, then picked up the rifle on his back: "Good thing they came. Watch how I take them down in a bit. These bastards destroyed our plane and almost killed us. We can't let this go unpunished!"
