Chapter 771 Rescuing Zhou Tong

"..."

All the team members were already bursting with excitement, but Zhou Tong shook his head helplessly.

He certainly wanted to organize his team to launch a counterattack, but the supply team members were all excellent marksmen and had heavy weapons. If they ran out rashly, they would likely suffer heavy casualties.

Hiding here was their only option. Zhou Tong secretly regretted that he had thought he could easily hold off the supply team.

But when the supply convoys arrived in armored vehicles, he realized the gravity of the situation; their rifles were simply no match for the armored vehicles.

Moreover, these supply convoys included some heavy artillery pieces, which were devastating weapons against these targets. They were utterly powerless to resist these artillery pieces.

Fortunately, they were in a relatively sturdy building, so the artillery fire did not cause significant damage to the walls.

However, this also restricted their freedom of movement; if they dared to show themselves, they would likely be met with a shell.

So they are now stuck inside this building and can't go out at all.

Suddenly, the sound of artillery fire came from afar, and Zhou Tong immediately shouted to the crowd.

Almost instinctively, everyone lay down on the ground. However, after the artillery fire subsided, Zhou Tong realized that the shelling hadn't been aimed at them.

Zhou Tong helped himself up and slowly looked out through the crack in the wall. Only then did he see that a towering fire had broken out in the supply team's line hundreds of meters away.

"Hmm, what's going on? Could it be that Lu Yuan and the others have arrived?"

Thinking of this, Zhou Tong quickly took out his binoculars and looked into the distance through the gap.

In the distance, a tank could be seen dodging and weaving to avoid the supply convoy's artillery fire, while it was occasionally hit by a few shells.

The two sides exchanged blows, each unleashing their most powerful firepower at the other, so he quickly picked up the walkie-talkie.

"Lu Yuan, is that you? Did you drive that tank here?"

Lu Yuan sat inside the tank, being jostled back and forth, feeling as if his internal organs were about to be shaken apart. Just then, a voice came from the walkie-talkie, and he quickly put the receiver to his ear.

"I am Lu Yuan, is that you, Lao Zhou?"

"It's my brother! I didn't expect it to really be you. Be careful, their firepower is extremely fierce!"

"I know, you all stay inside and keep watch, and whatever you do, don't come out!"

"Are you alright? How about we attack them from both sides?"

Lu Yuan looked into the distance through the periscope. The entire position had been bombed into ruins, with flames shooting into the sky everywhere and shells whistling overhead.

Fortunately, the tank crew was very skilled, and although each shell landed near the tank, he was still able to easily dodge them.

"Ten meters to the right!"

"receive!"

The crew member driving the tank immediately adjusted its position and then charged in a different direction.

Another team member loaded shells while aiming at the enemy's artillery.

A loud "boom" resounded.

A fierce fire erupted from the location of a cannon in the distance, and the crew member operating the tank turret cheered.

"Yes, hit it! There's another firing point! Seven o'clock position, 300 meters away!"

Then, while shouting instructions, he adjusted the position of the gun emplacement.

Then another shell was fired. The artillery pieces in the distance were being towed by people, so they were moving very slowly and had no time to adjust their positions before they were destroyed by the shell.

With both artillery positions destroyed, the enemy was left with only simple rocket launchers.

However, rocket launchers don't do much damage to tanks. After all, tanks are very fast and have extremely thick armor, so they can easily withstand a rocket launcher.

As long as the fuel tank or ammunition compartment isn't hit, there shouldn't be any problems.

Then a commotion arose from the supply team's position, and the personnel began to scatter and flee, while they were trapped in a position behind Zhou Tong's location.

Morrison's face was grim. He looked through his binoculars at the supply convoy that had already scattered in the distance, and a sense of powerlessness washed over him.

"We're finished, we're completely finished! Those bastards from the supply team ran away!"

He slammed his fist on the table and then glanced at everyone.

"Gentlemen, the supply team has already fled. We're on our own now. Pass down the order immediately: everyone prepare for battle! Prepare for the final battle!"

So everyone took out their rifles and checked their pistols.

The pistols were their last weapons; they didn't want them to fall into enemy hands, even though the enemy was the Chinese army, which was known for its good treatment of prisoners of war. But now it was the end of the world, and they couldn't trust these people.

These Delta Force members would rather die by their own gun than be tortured, because they carry too many secrets.

If they were caught, they would likely be exposed, so after checking their weapons, they sat quietly inside the building awaiting their trial.

Lu Yuan, inside the tank, was constantly observing the supply convoy's front line through the periscope when suddenly two armored vehicles sped away in the distance. Lu Yuan quickly shouted to his team members.
