Upon hearing that an airplane was to be used, Lu Yuan sighed helplessly.
How accurate are the results of these screenings?
Sun Tao immediately patted his chest loudly.
"Mr. Lu, rest assured, I can guarantee with my own integrity that the results of these data are absolutely reliable."
At this moment, Lu Yuan turned to look at Han Wen beside him, and finally gritted his teeth: "Fine, in that case, I'll find a way to get you a plane."
Upon hearing Lu Yuan's words, Han Wen was so moved that tears welled up in his eyes: "Thank you, thank you, I'll go with you."
Lu Yuan waved his hand: "Forget it, you can continue your monitoring work here. Maybe you can find Xiwen's whereabouts using the methods you used before. We'll take care of finding the plane, you guys stay here and continue monitoring!"
Han Wen could only nod. At this moment, Sun Tao suddenly spoke up: "I know a place, and I also know exactly where the planes over there are hidden."
Upon hearing the other person's words, Lu Yuan's eyes widened immediately: "Good heavens, why didn't you say so sooner if you had this method?"
"Well, actually, I was a fairly successful detective before the apocalypse! I've been to Changnan before, and I have a few friends here. There's a flying club here, so I'm pretty familiar with the situation here!"
Upon hearing the other party's words, Lu Yuan was overjoyed: "Great! With you as our detective, our work will be much simpler. Okay, let's hurry over and find the plane."
So Lu Yuan led Sun Tao outside. Once outside, Sun Tao took out a map and pointed to a relatively open and flat area, saying, "This is the clubhouse of that flying club. Before the apocalypse, there were probably hundreds of planes here, all belonging to wealthy people from all over the world! Of course, there were more from China, mainly from Beijing and Shanghai!"
After glancing at the location, Lu Yuan frowned slightly: "It's a bit far!"
"Yes, after all, there is a satellite launch base in Changnan City, and the air traffic control here is quite strict, so they will choose a relatively remote place as the flight site!"
Lu Yuan nodded. He wasn't very clear about these things, only that some private clubs had airplanes, and people who could afford to fly airplanes were generally considered wealthy.
So Lu Yuan directly retrieved the helicopter from the dimensional space, then called a few team members and flew in the direction the other party pointed.
After the plane landed at a somewhat dilapidated manor, Sun Tao, sitting in the co-pilot's seat, frowned immediately: "Something's not right. This used to be an airport with lots of planes parked here. Why are all the planes gone?"
He was also a little confused at the moment, but he still let the plane land. After everyone got off the plane, they looked at the empty field and the runway that had cracked, and they were all speechless.
"There are clearly no planes here, and the runway is so badly damaged that it's impossible for them to take off!"
"Hmm, maybe they've hidden the plane. I know a place where there aren't any planes, so we might have made a wasted trip!"
After saying that, Sun Tao immediately led everyone to a collapsed building. Once there, he quickly went to a building that had collapsed halfway.
The area around the building had not been maintained for many years, and various vines covered the ruins of the building.
Nearby vegetation has also grown, showing that the landscaping in this area was quite good before the apocalypse.
Lu Yuan held a long knife and chopped the vines apart. Then Sun Tao gently pushed open the inner door. The moment the door opened, several large black rats crawled out.
The team members next to him were so frightened that they immediately fired several shots into the rats, killing them. However, Lu Yuan breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the rats' appearance.
These rats don't resemble the man-eating rats that appeared after the apocalypse. They aren't particularly large either, with the longest being only about 30 centimeters long, but they would have been considered relatively large rats before the apocalypse.
Lu Yuan looked around and saw that the room was pitch black. He then took out a powerful flashlight and shone it around, only to find that most of the furniture had been moved out. There were broken pieces all over the floor, and there were charred marks from burning near the walls.
“I’ve been here before. Sometimes after heavy rain, they park their planes underground. These areas in the airfield are relatively safe. I just looked and the main entrance has completely collapsed. I think if we go through here, we should be able to find a few planes!”
Sun Tao's confidence waned as he spoke. He took a flashlight and went into the room, gently tapping on the walls to make sure they wouldn't collapse easily before he felt relieved.
Then, I picked up a broom that was half-burnt from the wall and swept the ground. Finally, I saw an inconspicuous handle under a few broken floorboards.
"Before the apocalypse, there were often some shady things happening in this place where the wealthy gathered, so it was also the place most frequently visited by the police."
