Chapter 828 The Frenzied Starving People

The Korean side expressed their gratitude repeatedly and said they would fly over immediately.

After giving some instructions, Lu Yuan hung up the phone.

In the distance, the starving people continued their frantic charge, each one fearlessly rushing forward.

Countless corpses lay on the ground, and Zhou Tong and the other team members looked grim. They didn't want to slaughter these people, but they were simply too ferocious.

"Damn it, if this keeps going, we won't run out of bullets!"

"Oh no, more people are charging over there! Should we fight or not? I've already killed so many people!"

"Why aren't these people afraid of dying? Do they really want to die with us?"

The team members looked fearful. Although these people would only take down one bullet for them, they were all Chinese, and they couldn't bear to do it.

If it were foreigners, they wouldn't have any psychological burden when killing, but these people are all Chinese, and the sense of national unity that comes from their very bones has made them waver.

With a solemn expression, Zhou Quan said to his team members in a deep voice, "Don't forget that these people are beasts who devour people without spitting out the bones. They can no longer be called human beings!"

Lu Yuan picked up his rifle, ready to fire, when he suddenly saw some lights flashing in the distance.

He quickly put down the gun, picked up the night vision binoculars, and looked into the distance.

In the distance, a dense crowd began to emerge in their direction.

"Damn it, a lot more are coming. We have to find a way to get out of here!"

Then Lu Yuan suddenly realized that something might have happened to the plane.

So he quickly picked up the walkie-talkie and dialed the plane to find out what was going on.

Soon a response came from the plane, but Lu Yuan's heart sank when he heard their reply.

"Damn it, they've been attacked over there too. Looks like we need to take care of these people as soon as possible!"

As Zhou Tong pulled the trigger, he turned his head and asked, "What do we do next? Kill them all? By the way, was that a message Han Wen just sent you?"

"That's right, it was Han Wen who just sent me the message. She said that Xi Wen is in this deep pit, so the most urgent thing is to get into the pit as soon as possible and find Xi Wen!"

"If all else fails, you go down and we'll cover you from up here!"

After listening, Lu Yuan shook his head: "No, there are a lot more people coming from over there. You don't have enough bullets. How about this, wait for me, cover me, I'll rush out and bring some people to help you!"

Upon hearing Lu Yuan's words, Zhou Tong immediately nodded and shouted to his teammates, "Cover Lu Yuan!"

Then Lu Yuan found a direction and rushed over immediately.

The team members fired bullets continuously in the direction Lu Yuan charged forward, and row after row of people fell to the ground, quickly clearing a path for Lu Yuan.

Just as Lu Yuan broke through the crowd, the starving people suddenly lunged at him, baring their teeth and claws.

However, Lu Yuan was very fast, and these people, who were often starving, were no match for him.

Lu Yuan quickly left everyone behind. Although some people in the group were carrying guns, Zhou Tong and a few of his men were specifically watching the crowd to see if anyone was carrying a gun. If they found someone using a gun, they would shoot them dead immediately.

Lu Yuan continued charging forward, and when he reached the middle of the charge, he glanced in the distance.

The lights shone brightly again, but Lu Yuan felt that these people seemed to be in much better condition than the starving people behind him.

"Who exactly are these people? Are they also members of Tang Kang's savior organization?"

Lu Yuan frowned, then ran wildly in the distance.

He now needs to find an open space, summon all his teammates from the dimensional space, and then eliminate them.

Just as Lu Yuan arrived at an open space and was about to enter the dimensional space, the beams of those flashlights shone in his direction, clearly indicating that they had discovered him.

"Stop! Hands up! Or we'll shoot!"

Then several beams of flashlight beams shone in Lu Yuan's direction. Upon seeing this, Lu Yuan immediately raised his hands. He didn't know who the other party was, but he could see the dark muzzle of a gun in the beams.

Lu Yuan didn't put up any resistance. After all, the other party had a gun, and who knew if there were other guns pointed at him in the distance? If he resisted, would the other party actually shoot him?

So Lu Yuan stood still and waited quietly for the other party to arrive, while the situation Zhou Tong encountered also changed somewhat.

The residents, who had already gone completely mad, now showed fear on their faces when they realized that someone else was coming.

It seems that the previous deaths had no psychological burden on them, but now the newcomers seem somewhat afraid, and their steps have slowed down considerably.

Several people glanced back and then began to flee.

Then even more people began to flee.

"They've retreated, they're gone, they're trying to escape!"

"Yeah, Brother Zhou, it looks like these people aren't planning to keep pushing forward. Are they going to run away?"

"Could it be that the people coming from over there are their opponents? Have we run into reinforcements?"
