Zhou Chen looked around and decided that this wasn't the place to talk, so she pointed to Wang Mingming's car and said, "Brother Wang, why don't we talk in the car? I have something important to tell you!"
Wang Mingming immediately realized that Zhou Chen might have discovered some secret. Combining this with the content of today's meeting, he felt that something was wrong, so he quickly nodded and pulled Zhou Chen into the car.
Once in the car, Wang Mingming asked softly, "Xiao Chen, what happened? Tell your brother!"
After thinking for a moment, Zhou Chen said, "I just encountered some bad guys! And Uncle Sun was with them. He seemed quite afraid of them. It was Uncle Sun who saved me!"
"Uncle Sun? You mean Sun Tao?"
Zhou Chen nodded immediately: "It's Uncle Sun Tao!"
Wang Mingming seemed to have thought of something, so he frowned and pondered for a moment before continuing to ask, "Tell me everything that just happened to you. Remember, don't hide anything!"
Zhou Chen knew the matter was serious, so she consciously told Wang Mingming everything that had just happened.
After listening, Wang Mingming frowned: "It seems these people have some new plans. By the way, where's your dad? And what's the name of the woman who's with him?"
"My dad is with an aunt named Liu Qian!"
After listening, Wang Mingming immediately sensed something was wrong. Then he slapped his forehead and exclaimed, "Damn it! No wonder these people always manage to avoid us. It turns out they get their information from Brother Zhou!"
So he quickly turned to Zhou Chen and said, "Xiao Chen, your dad might be in a bit of danger right now. I'll take you back first!"
"What danger might my dad be in? Can I go with him?"
Zhou Chen's face turned deathly pale. When she heard that her father was in danger, she couldn't help but feel worried.
However, Wang Mingming smiled and said, "Don't worry, your dad is a special forces instructor. He can easily resolve this danger."
However, he doesn't know where the danger lies yet, so I'm going to go and warn him. But this is a civilian area, and some areas might be dangerous, so I need to take you to a safe place. Listen to me, come with me!
Zhou Chen nodded, then watched Wang Mingming start the car.
The car sped along and arrived at Lu Yuan's residence.
Lu Yuan had just finished dinner and was chatting with his family.
When he heard the sound of a car engine outside, he asked Aunt Liu to go and take a look.
Aunt Liu lifted the curtain and saw Wang Mingming's car.
"Wang Mingming is here, oh, and Zhou Chen is here too!"
Lu Yuan was slightly taken aback, then got up, said something to his family, and left the room.
As soon as they stepped outside, they saw Wang Mingming and Zhou Chen coming towards them.
"Brother Lu, something's happened!"
Wang Mingming's face showed a hint of panic. She immediately began to explain the matter.
Upon hearing this, Lu Yuan immediately frowned.
"You mean Liu Qian is an undercover agent sent by this organization?"
"That's right. Although we can't confirm this yet, considering what happened before and the reactions of those guards, I reckon it's definitely related to Liu Qian!"
Lu Yuan gritted his teeth and immediately thought of some of the things that happened today and Zhou Tong's performance.
He knew that Zhou Tong was completely in love with this relationship, and although he had never met Liu Qian, he had a feeling that Zhou Tong had fallen in love with her, but Zhou Tong was still kept in the dark.
"Damn it, let's not rush things. Liu Qian's identity is still somewhat useful to us. Since they want to find out our strengths and weaknesses, we might as well make good use of her!"
Then Lu Yuan returned to his room, picked up his phone from the table, and dialed Zhou Tong's number.
"Old Zhou, where are you right now?"
Zhou Tong was currently in the room talking with Liu Qian about his past and some recent events.
Liu Qian was a rather intelligent woman, and she offered her own opinions and suggestions on these issues. Zhou Tong was very satisfied after hearing them, and he had a vague feeling that this woman seemed to be a wise and capable helper sent by heaven to assist him.
The phone on the table suddenly rang. Zhou Tong glanced at the message and a look of confusion appeared on his face.
Meanwhile, Liu Qian glanced at the name on the phone without making it obvious, and seeing that it was Lu Yuan, she rolled her eyes slightly and said softly, "Um, I'll go next door to see if I can get some snacks. You can take this call here, I won't bother you!"
Zhou Tong nodded, not minding at all. He felt that this woman understood him too well. After all, it was Lu Yuan calling him, and Liu Qian had to avoid such private calls.
However, it seemed inappropriate to bring it up directly, but Liu Qian did take the initiative to ask to leave, which moved Zhou Quan deeply.
"Okay, then I'll have to trouble you!"
After saying that, Liu Qian smiled at Zhou Tong, touched the back of his hand, and then got up and left the room.
Zhou Tong picked up the phone and pressed the answer button. Lu Yuan's voice came from the other end of the line.
Where are you now?
