Chapter 843 Liu Qian's Phone Call

Liu Qian's voice carried a hint of coldness: "You've been watching me for a long time."

Sun Tao glanced at the crowd around him, who seemed oblivious to his presence. A few people were following him furtively in the distance, so Sun Tao quickly moved closer and whispered, "Are these people pressuring you?"

After hearing this, Liu Qian immediately looked around and said, "Don't talk nonsense. I did it voluntarily. I don't want you to say such dangerous things. If I hear it again, I will definitely report you!"

After saying that, a hint of panic flashed in Liu Qian's eyes. She was about to leave, but Sun Tao grabbed her arm: "You're not telling the truth. Someone in the venue said that your son lives with you, but as far as I know, your son doesn't live with you at all!"

Upon hearing this, Liu Qian's eyes immediately reddened. She became agitated and forcefully shook off Sun Tao's hand, saying, "Get out of my way, or I'll call for help."

Her voice rose a few decibels, immediately attracting the attention of several followers nearby. Soon, Sun Tao sensed someone approaching.

Then a man holding a baton stood in front of him with an unfriendly expression.

"What are you trying to do? Why are you harassing her?"

Sun Tao quickly raised his hands and gave an innocent smile: "It's a misunderstanding, a misunderstanding. I just wanted to have a nice chat with the hero. I admire her a lot and I want to learn from her spirit."

Upon hearing this, the men nearby exchanged glances, then leaned closer to Liu Qian and whispered, "Is what he said true?"

Liu Qian opened her mouth, but seeing the anxious look in Sun Tao's eyes, she finally nodded: "Yes!"

The people next to him breathed a sigh of relief, and then said to Sun Tao, "If you want to learn, you can go to the venue to attend the lectures. There's no need to bother others like this!"

Sun Tao gave an awkward laugh and then turned to leave, but his attention remained on Liu Qian.

Finding a secluded spot, he saw Liu Qian crawl into a tent.

So Sun Tao quickly picked up his notebook and wrote down some short words on it. He tore off the paper, crumpled it into a ball, and as he slowly walked toward Liu Qian's tent, he forcefully threw the ball of paper into Liu Qian's room. Then he turned and left as if nothing had happened.

Liu Qian sat in the room and glanced at the time. He wouldn't be able to leave for another half hour, so she could rest well in the tent for that half hour.

Just then, she heard some noises outside, and then a crumpled piece of paper was thrown in from a distance, landing at her feet. Several people were patrolling the area outside the tent but did not notice it.

Liu Qian turned her head to look at the people outside, then quickly stomped the crumpled paper under her foot.

Once she was sure no one was watching her, she carefully dropped what she was holding at her feet, and then, while pretending to pick something up, she slipped the crumpled piece of paper into her hand.

Then she left the tent and walked toward the makeshift toilet.

Once inside the restroom, Liu Qian finally dared to unfold the crumpled piece of paper she had been holding in her hand. On the paper was a line of messy writing.

"If you're being coerced, I can help you. If you've figured it out, come find me in the fifth tent on the east side!"

When Liu Qian saw these words, she was stunned for a moment.

She immediately realized that Sun Tao was looking for her, but she couldn't trust anyone in this camp.

After all, her son was still in someone else's hands. If they found out that she was betraying them, her son might lose his life.

After much deliberation, she still dared not act and returned to her tent. The words on the crumpled paper filled Liu Qian's mind; finally, she gritted her teeth and made a decision.

At this moment, the second lecture began, and Liu Qian no longer needed to go to the tent to listen to the lecture. She quickly walked to the tent on the east side.

She counted carefully and found the fifth tent. Inside, only a faint computer light shone out. She cautiously walked past and peeked inside, immediately spotting Sun Tao.

So she glanced around to make sure no one was following her before crawling into the tent.

"You've come. It seems you've come to your senses!"

Sun Tao immediately realized what was happening the moment he saw Liu Qian walk in.

Liu Qian's voice carried a hint of suspicion: "Who exactly are you?"

"I am the one who can save your son!"

Hearing Sun Tao's words, Liu Qian fell silent, unsure whether she should trust him.

After all, she had only exchanged a few words with this man since they met.

How did you find out about my child?

Sun Tao glanced outside, then pulled the tent flap closed and shut the laptop, plunging the entire room into darkness.

"Who else do you think could know about your child besides those in high positions and the scum who kidnapped him?"

After hearing this, Liu Qian was stunned for a moment. Her mind kept racing, trying to think of anyone else who might know. Suddenly, she stared wide-eyed in Sun Tao's direction.

"You wouldn't happen to be an undercover agent sent by Lu Yuan, would you?"

Sun Tao nodded slightly: "That's right, I am the undercover agent sent here. You don't need to be surprised. If you can send undercover agents, why can't they? So just keep this to yourself. Also, if you really need help, I can help you!"
