Chapter 851 Inviting the Enemy into the Trap

In order to support them, Lu Yuan spared no effort to open up his own dimensional space, but these people are traitors and now want to overthrow him, so Lu Yuan doesn't need to be polite to them.

Jin Shu, who was in the camp, was still unaware of the situation. He looked down at the time and saw that half an hour had passed and his assistant had not returned. He immediately felt that something was wrong.

So he quickly arrived at the nearby campsite, and along the way, he overheard a conversation.

"They said they were out of bullets, so they gave us a gun. Isn't that just a stick for firewood?"

"Yeah, are we still issuing bullets? Wasn't the operation supposed to be tonight? If we don't issue bullets now, Lu Yuan and his men will be here with their troops soon."

"They said the bullets have already been taken by the higher-ups, and they'll distribute them during the event later!"

"Really? When we were distributing them, I think I heard someone say that the bullets were stolen, but now you're saying they'll be distributed soon. Which one is true?"

The crowd whispered among themselves, and Jin Shu finally sensed that something was wrong.

He immediately rushed forward and grabbed the man's arm.

The other party was startled and pointed his gun at Jin Shun.

Upon seeing Jin Shu, he quickly lowered his gun and apologized repeatedly, "Mr. Jin Shu, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!"

However, Jin Shu couldn't care less about anything else at the moment. He immediately lowered his voice and growled, "Who told you the bullets would be fired in a moment?"

The other person paused for a moment, then pointed in the distance: "It's over there!"

Jin Shu immediately realized that something was wrong, because the place where they were digging for these guns and ammunition was not over there, but in the opposite direction.

He felt that everything was planned, and that he had probably fallen into a trap.

He then immediately approached his other assistants: "Where's Wu Hao? Where did he go?"

Several assistants shook their heads: "We don't know, we haven't seen him!"

"Damn it, this is a major disaster! Notify everyone immediately and start the operation ahead of schedule!"

The assistants beside him still looked surprised; they didn't know why Jin Shu said they should act ahead of schedule.

Suddenly, a burst of intense gunfire rang out in the distance.

Jin Shu immediately realized that something was wrong, and he quickly led several assistants towards the direction from which the gunshots were coming from.

The closer he got, the more he could feel the bullets flying overhead. Jin Shu felt no fear; he was prepared to die. But he still couldn't accept dying so inexplicably.

In the distance, some of the guards from the organization began to fight back; they were their own men.

Meanwhile, a number of military and police personnel were approaching from a distance, guns in hand.

In the firelight, Jin Shu saw a familiar human eye.

That man was the one he trusted most, a man with a somewhat cold voice.

"What's going on? Why did they suddenly start exchanging fire?"

The other person turned around and saw that it was Jin Shu, and quickly said, "Mr. Jin Shu, something bad has happened! The military and police are rushing over to arrest people, and of course we didn't want to, so we fought with them!"

"Damn it, open fire! Open fire now! By the way, what's going on with the bullets? Why did I hear from the men down below that we're out of bullets?"

The other person gritted his teeth, fired a shot, and turned his head to say, "Lu Yuan and his men have taken all the weapons and ammunition. Our communications are down, so we can't send any messages out at all!"

Jin Shu gritted her teeth in resentment and glanced in the direction of the military and police forces in the distance: "Is this really the end?"

Then, he made a firm decision: "No, we've prepared for so long, we can't just give up like this. I now grant you the highest authority: break out at all costs and notify General Carl of the United States to send reinforcements immediately!"

Upon hearing that Jin Shu had bestowed such great power upon him, the other party showed a hint of excitement on his face, stood up, and saluted Jin Shu.

"Mr. Jin Shu, rest assured, I guarantee I will complete the mission!"

The man left the camp excitedly, while Lu Yuan had already received the statistics on the number of rebels killed.

"Lu Yuan, do we really have to kill all of these people?"

A worried look appeared on Xiao Shan's face. She was in the camp listening to the sounds of gunfire in the distance, and she felt anxious.

Lu Yuan sighed: "Killing them is not enough to quell my anger. We put so much effort into building this city and supporting them, and yet these people are thinking about finding freedom."

"Haven't I given them enough freedom? If they want freedom, then let them go find it elsewhere. I don't intend to support them, but before they leave, they have to leave everything behind!"

"But... but there are millions of people, killing them all seems a bit inappropriate!"

Lu Yuan sighed, "It's come to this point now. If we give them the chance, they'll attack us! This time, we have to fight to the death!"

After saying that, Lu Yuan stood by the window and looked in the distance.

"Once we finish dealing with these matters today, this situation will not happen again!"

Xiao Shan didn't know what Lu Yuan meant, so she could only nod slightly.

As for what decision Lu Yuan wants to make, she will absolutely support him 100%. Although she might feel a little uncomfortable, she will just silently follow Lu Yuan's wishes.
