Chaos erupted throughout the camp.
In the midst of the chaos, Jin Shu finally realized that the situation was not as simple as she had initially thought.
"Damn it, how did he find out our secret beforehand? Who tipped us off?"
The assistants looked at each other, none of them knowing who had leaked the secret.
After all, as far as they knew, this matter seemed to be carried out very discreetly, and they were basically looking for the lowest-level personnel. As for the middle and top-level big shots, they did not provoke them.
After a while, Jin Shu suddenly realized that someone might have leaked the information.
"No, no, I remember now, the person who leaked the information to us before was Liu Qian, and she also seems to have had the most contact with Zhou Quan. Damn it! It must be her!"
Jin Shu immediately relaxed her brows, a crazy smile appearing in her eyes: "Lu Yuan, didn't you want to kill me? Hmph, then I'll see who's more ruthless, you or me."
After saying that, he immediately rushed to his assistant and said, "Where is Liu Qian's son? Take me there right now."
After listening, the assistant nodded quickly and led Jin Shu toward the location where Liu Qian's son was being held.
Upon arriving at the location, before the door was even opened, Jin Shu smelled a strong stench of blood.
Jin Shu immediately realized something was wrong. He quickly grabbed the flashlight from his left hand, shone it towards the room, and then kicked the door open.
The moment the door was kicked open, several corpses were found on the floor inside the room, their blood already dried.
A foul odor wafted from the room, causing people to involuntarily take a few steps back.
Where are they? The children?
Everyone shook their heads, and Jin Shu was furious.
Upon entering the room, I covered my nose, stepped on the sticky blood, and looked around, but found nothing amiss.
He crouched down to examine the deceased's condition and saw that these were external fatal wounds, mostly in one place, either on the neck or the solar plexus.
He then checked the vicinity for signs of a struggle, but unfortunately, there were no signs at all. It was clear that the guards had been killed before they could react.
"Why? Why? I feel like I've been played like a fool! How can Lu Yuan know every single step of my plan so clearly? There must be a traitor among us! There must be a traitor!"
After saying that, Jin Shuxie started to roar hysterically, and suddenly he turned to look at his assistants.
The assistants immediately realized something was wrong and frantically waved their hands to clear themselves of suspicion.
"Mr. Jin Shu, it wasn't us! We didn't leak any information!"
"Yes, how could it be ours? We've followed you for so long, we're absolutely loyal!"
"Mr. Jin Shu, you've misunderstood. It must be Liu Qian, it must be that woman Liu Qian who betrayed us!"
A cold glint flashed in Jin Shu's eyes: "I'll give you a chance. Bring Liu Qian back to me. I'm going to kill her in front of everyone. I'll let her know what happens when you betray me!"
Now that things have come to this, Jin Shu knows he is powerless to change anything, and he can only pray that he can find Lu Yuan's weakness.
Suddenly a dangerous thought flashed through his mind, and then he found his closest assistant and called him over.
"How long have you been with me?"
A hint of nervousness flashed across the assistant's face, and he said tremblingly, "I've been following you for three years and seven months!"
"Alright, you've been with me for three years, so I should know you inside and out. Now I'm going to ask you to do something for me!"
The assistant sensed that the other party was definitely going to make him do something very dangerous, but he didn't dare to resist. He knew Jin Shu's abilities, and he couldn't muster any will to resist.
He nodded and watched Jin Shu quietly as Jin Shu took out a pack of cigarettes from her pocket.
He knew that Jin Shu didn't smoke at all and had no habit of smoking, but the current situation had exceeded everyone's expectations, and he was just trying to smoke to relieve his mood.
"Go and gather all the people with ammunition and weapons right now!"
Upon hearing his order, the assistant breathed a sigh of relief. He had thought Jin Shu was going to ask him to do something dangerous, but he hadn't expected that the other party would only give this simple order, so he immediately nodded.
"Okay, Mr. Jin Shu, I'll be right there!"
Although the assistant turned and left, Jin Shu stood by the window looking into the distance, watching the glint of bullets streaking across the sky.
"If I die, everyone will be buried with me. Lu Yuan, I want to see who's more ruthless, you or me!"
At that moment, Lu Yuan was quietly waiting in his temporary office.
News kept coming in, mostly good news. Every time someone tried to break through, they were caught and brought back. Now they were slowly closing in, forcing these people to the core area.
Lu Yuan planned to separate all these people and then settle accounts with them one by one.
"Brother Lu, the crowd has advanced another few hundred meters, and the number of people arrested has now reached 300,000!"
As Wang Mingming spoke, she handed over the report in her hand, and Lu Yuan took the report and nodded slightly.
"Keep a close eye on these people, and make sure they don't cause any trouble!"
Wang Mingming nodded, seemingly having something else to report, but seeing Lu Yuan's expression, he had a feeling that this matter should be put on hold.
