It sounds terrifying.
So, Mr. Lu tightened his grip on the rifle in his hand and continued walking forward.
Turning off at the end of the corridor leads to another long, narrow passageway, where only a dim yellow light flickers occasionally.
The ground was covered in a thick layer of dust, making it look like no one had been there for a long time.
Mr. Lu instantly had a bad feeling.
"Damn it! Could something have happened somewhere?"
Thinking of this, Mr. Lu quickly went to check each room one by one.
However, each room was either empty or messy, containing only various documents and no one.
Just as Mr. Lu was about to reach out and open the last door, a shrill scream suddenly came from the far end of the corridor, sounding like fingernails scratching against glass.
"Huh? What's going on?"
Mr. Lu gripped the gun tightly and shone it in the distance.
The corridor was so long and narrow that the flashlight beam couldn't reach that far.
Just then, a person suddenly appeared in the area covered by the flashlight beam.
The other person had their head down, with their hands and shoulders hanging naturally, as if they were being hung in the stairwell.
"Who...who are you?"
Mr. Lu gripped his gun tightly and shouted something at the other party.
However, as soon as he finished speaking, Mr. Lu sensed that something was amiss.
The other person looked up and revealed a pair of eerie, blood-red eyes.
The way he opened his mouth was quite surprising.
