Lu Yuan was the first to go down, slowly climbing down step by step. Due to the special nature of the rope ladder, Lu Yuan could clearly feel the ladder swaying with each step he took down.
To prevent any sneak attacks from below, Lu Yuan would look down a little further with every step he took, fearing that someone might be below.
After about half an hour, Lu Yuan felt his hands and feet were getting numb. Looking up, he could no longer see the obstruction.
But Hei Zi, who was above Lu Yuan, asked with some concern, "Lu Yuan, how much further down is it? Can we still see the ground? We've been walking for so long already!"

So the three of them continued to slowly climb down.
After about ten minutes, Lu Yuan finally heard a clanging sound coming from below.
Upon hearing these sounds, Lu Yuan felt a surge of excitement. He quickly drew his gun from his waist, then held onto the rope ladder with one hand and looked down.
However, due to the extremely thick fog and the fact that he was wearing a gas mask, he was unable to see what was happening inside. So he could only put his pistol in a small pouch on his chest and slowly begin to climb down.
After climbing for a while longer, the sounds became clearer. Lu Yuan looked back down and saw several tents appearing in the distance.
Near the tent were some heavy machines, which appeared to be assembled from small parts, and they seemed to be digging something underneath.
There were about a few dozen workers gathered in a pile of rubble, constantly carrying stones out of it. In the area where the rubble was piled, several other people were using hammers to break the stones one by one.
Not far from these workers, several people wearing gas masks and holding pistols were pacing back and forth. This scene reminded Lu Yuan of the African diamond mines he had seen on television before.
South Africa is a region rich in diamonds, and a type of diamond produced there is called a blood diamond. Because of its high purity, it is the most valuable. Some armed groups in the vicinity are trying to take these blood diamonds out to sell them at high prices in exchange for their weapons and equipment.
So they often went to the vicinity to capture people to go to the mine to collect diamonds. Every diamond that was collected basically represented the hard work of the workers.
The situation below was basically the same as what Lu Yuan had seen on TV. Apart from the guards who could move around freely wearing gas masks, none of the other workers were allowed to wear masks. Everyone was bent over with their heads down, searching for all sorts of stones nearby. If they were even slightly slow, they would basically get a beating.
Lu Yuan gently shook the ladder, and Hei Zi and Niu Wen on the ladder immediately stopped and looked down.
Lu Yuan pointed to himself, then pointed down and whispered, covering his face with his hand against the wall, "We're only ten meters or so to the bottom. We need to slow down!"
After hearing Lu Yuan's words, the two nodded and followed Lu Yuan's steps to slowly walk down.
After looking down and finding no one nearby, Lu Yuan quickened his pace, taking three steps at a time and sliding down the ladder by holding onto both sides with both hands.
After his feet landed lightly on the ground, Lu Yuan immediately pulled out the shotgun he was carrying on his back and became alert.
Soon, Hei Zi and Niu Wen also came down from up there.
After nodding to the two men, Lu Yuanchong rushed towards the guards waiting for the patrol team nearby.
It seemed that the people here had not noticed that someone had secretly come to the camp. Lu Yuan and Hei Zi kept watch and observed from the side.
Inside the mine, everyone was still busy with their own things.
Before the seven-man patrol could react, Lu Yuan and his two companions pounced from the shadows and knocked them to the ground. Each of them was hit on the back of the head with a gun butt, blood flowing everywhere, and they instantly lost consciousness.
The three then dragged the unconscious people to a pile of rubble and covered them with some scraps of cloth nearby.
The people on guard outside the escalator didn't seem to have noticed the commotion, so Lu Yuan waved his hand, and the three of them once again moved to surround them.
It seems there are no major obstacles in terms of coordination. Niu Wen, who just joined the team, has not trained with Lu Yuan. Hei Zi has his own unique fighting style and is extremely ruthless, aiming directly at the opponent's vital points. He was terrified when he saw Lu Yuan, but didn't say anything.
They arrived at a barracks. The group hid in the back, with Hei Zi and Niu Wen on guard, while Lu Yuan simply took out a walkie-talkie and quietly turned it on: "Attention, people upstairs, we've taken care of all the guards down here. Ten men stay upstairs to keep watch. The rest of you, come down immediately. I repeat, the rest of you, come down immediately!"
"Understood, Captain. We'll send people down right away!"
Upon hearing Lu Yuan's arrangement, the people above immediately responded, and a commotion immediately followed.
About twenty minutes later, the crowd began to descend one by one. This time, they were much faster than when Lu Yuan and his group descended for the first time, since there were people below to help them.
Soon, the team of more than twenty people had assembled. Lu Yuan held a gun and pointed to the tent in the distance that was labeled "Control Room".
