Chen Linyu was sitting in the front when he suddenly heard a hurried voice: "Mr. Chen, the person you just brought isn't Lin Hai. He might be a spy!"
Chen Linyu paused for a moment, and Lu Yuan, who was following behind, almost bumped into him.
Lu Yuanyang frowned as he looked at Chen Linyu: "President Chen, what's wrong?"
A flicker of panic crossed Chen Linyu's eyes, then he slyly calmed himself down: "Oh, it should be nothing. By the way, I happen to have an office here. How about we go in and have a drink together?"
Chen Linyu thought his acting skills were superb, but Lu Yuan had already seen through the panic in the other's eyes and immediately understood what was going on.
Hearing the loud alarm blaring overhead, Lu Yuan was unsure what was happening, while Chen Linyu said softly, "Don't worry, it's probably just someone else triggering the alarm. Let's go, we might not be able to get downstairs for a while! They'll be done with their checks soon!"
Lu Yuan secretly wondered what was going on. His examination had been completed when he first came in, so why was a warning being issued only now? Was there something wrong with the situation?
But looking at the chaotic crowd, no one was arresting him, and Chen Linyu didn't seem to suspect him at all.
Lu Yuan nodded slightly and followed Chen Linyu toward an office.
Just then, a series of hurried footsteps came from behind, and many people carrying guns began to impose a curfew. The lights in the corridor of the entire laboratory flickered intermittently, making it look dazzling.
Suddenly, Chen Linyu took two quick steps forward and then tried to slip into a room. However, Lu Yuan reacted in time and reached out to grab him. Unfortunately, Chen Linyu was too fast, and Lu Yuan gently tore a hole in his pocket. Just as Chen Linyu was about to escape and close the door, Lu Yuan saw him get away.
"That person is the one who sees blood, grab him quickly!"
Suddenly, countless pursuers emerged from the stairwell, and bullets rained down on Lu Yuan like a tidal wave.
