They stared intently at Lu Yuan like hungry wolves.
"What are you trying to do? Don't cause trouble!"
Looking at the man who wanted to worship his windshield wipers, Lu Yuan was speechless.
Then Lu Yuan got out of the car, and everyone looked at him with pleading eyes.
When did you all arrive?
"Boss, I've been here for half a month!"
"I've been here for a month!"
"I've been here for a week!"
"..."
Everyone excitedly announced the time they had arrived.
Lu Yuan glanced around at everyone; each of them looked weak, and their bellies were swollen terribly.
A little girl nearby was starving. She squatted down, grabbed a handful of dirt, stuffed it into her mouth, chewed it, and then spat it out.
Lu Yuan frowned as he watched all of this.
"Does anyone know if the soil there is thicker?"
Immediately, someone raised their hand and shouted, "Boss, I know where the soil layer is thickest!"
The others quickly followed suit and raised their hands.
"Alright! One at a time!"
Finally, following the group of starving people, they arrived at a spacious area. It seemed this area had previously been used for factory construction, but the project had been halted for some reason.
So a large area was left behind where buildings were only half-built or even just had foundations laid.
Lu Yuan took a wooden pipe and stuck it into the ground to test it.
"Half a meter deep...that's enough!"
Lu Yuan then tried other places, and fortunately, the soil in most places was about half a meter thick.
Then Lu Yuan measured the size of the area. Excluding the remaining factory sites, there were about ten acres of open land.
"Ten acres of land should be enough for growing crops!"
After secretly calculating in his mind, Lu Yuan decided to find a way to buy this place to grow crops.
But now Lu Yuan is surrounded by these starving people and can't get out at all.

Almost everyone said they just wanted food and didn't care about anything else.

As soon as Lu Yuan finished speaking, several people stepped out from the crowd.
"Boss, my family used to be farmers!"

"Boss, I used to work for the grain bureau, so I'm an expert in farming!"

Several people started talking at once, recounting their past experiences.
Lu Yuan nodded slightly: "Alright! From now on, you will be responsible for teaching the people here how to grow crops. Once I acquire this land, you will be the people in charge here!"
After speaking, Lu Yuan turned his head and looked at a man with a pale face but a very tall stature.
"May I have your name?"
The man pointed to himself, somewhat incredulous, and then quickly said, "Boss, my name is Zhong Hai!"
"Okay! From now on, you'll be in charge of these people! I'll come to you if anything comes up!"
Zhong Hai's face immediately lit up with a look of wild joy: "Thank you, boss! Thank you, boss!"
Lu Yuan waved his hand: "Alright! You guys move aside, I have to go back! Once the things are delivered, you can make your own arrangements! I don't care about anything else, I only care about the crops! Understand?"
Everyone nodded immediately and made way for them.
Lu Yuan got into the car and glanced at the area through the rearview mirror, silently calculating in his mind how much it would cost to talk here.
Back at the factory, Long San had been waiting at the gate for quite some time.
Upon seeing Lu Yuan return, Long San quickly went to greet him with a smile on his face.
"Lu Yuan, you're finally back! I just got two bottles of good wine, wanna have a drink?"
Lu Yuan glanced at the wine in the other person's hand and nodded: "Alright! I also have something to ask you! Why don't you drink here? I'll have someone prepare a couple of dishes!"
Then Lu Yuan waved to Wang Mingming.
"Brother Lu! What's wrong?"
How much water spinach do we have left in our warehouse?
Wang Mingming thought for a moment and said, "There are still more than ten tons left!"
"Which one removes water or not?"
"Get rid of the water! The factory area is large, and the poultry and livestock haven't been eating these water spinach much lately, so if we don't get them out soon, they'll probably rot!"
Lu Yuan nodded: "Perfect! I have something for you to do, go and get it done now!"
