Seeing the waving red flag, Lu Yuan's lips curled up slightly, and then he quickly walked towards the direction of the red flag.
Seemingly hearing Lu Yuan's footsteps, a periscope resembling a tree trunk extended from below.
Lu Yuan waved in the direction of the periscope's lens, and then received a message on his phone.
"Hello, I'm the network engineer. I'm trapped down here. Could you please rescue me?"
After receiving the message, Lu Yuan shouted down, "Brothers, step back a little and stay in a safe place. I'll help you move out now."
After the person below responded, Lu Yuan put down what he was holding and then moved all the collapsed stones away.
Shortly after, two people came out from below, a man and a woman. The woman was holding a baby in her arms, who looked to be only a few months old.
The man's face showed a hint of gratitude, while the woman's face was more wary.
Lu Yuan then introduced himself to the other party and pointed to the radio and television building not far away.
"I've secured a space over at the broadcasting and television building. Now, take a look at what's needed to set up a live broadcast system."
Upon hearing this, the other party's face lit up with joy. After a moment of contemplation, he said, "We need some computers and servers. Also, it would be best to have some live streaming equipment. The broadcasting station should have these things. The most important thing is to unlock the network by adjusting the frequency."
"No problem, I can find some people to help you with this. Can you come along now?"
"No problem, um... could you give us something to eat first? We've been starving for days!"
The man's voice became very low when he said this, as if he was afraid of being overheard, but there was no one else nearby except for the three of them and the baby in the woman's arms.
Clearly, this man was rather shy, so Lu Yuan didn't hesitate and simply handed the bag from the ground to him.
"If you had a baby, I might have brought you some more milk or formula, but for now, you should come with me before the termites attack."
The man nodded immediately, opened the bag and found some meat, bread, dry food, and several bottles of water inside.
A look of shock flashed across the woman's eyes. She swallowed hard, only to find that her throat was completely dry.
The man smiled sheepishly at Lu Yuan, then quickly unscrewed the bottle cap and handed the woman a bottle of water. After taking the water, the woman desperately gulped down two mouthfuls.
Perhaps she drank the water too quickly, because the woman coughed violently a few times, and then, ignoring the discomfort in her throat, she took a few more gulps of water.
Finally, she finished the bottle of water completely, and the woman finally showed a satisfied expression.
Seeing her drink water like that, Lu Yuan shook his head helplessly. If he only had this one bottle of water and she drank it all in one go, then this man would probably be thirsty.
Clearly, this woman's status is much higher than this man's, and her position in the family is obviously much higher as well. The first thing this man did after opening the bottle was to hand the water to the woman, which is enough to show that the relationship between the two of them is that the man is more afraid of the woman.

The woman was the kind who was particularly pampered and spoiled, who was used to having everything done for her and held a very high position in the family. When she saw her family members trying to separate the couple, she was furious and eloped with Hou Ming.
Then disaster struck, ushering in the apocalypse. This woman knew nothing about anything, and she relied on this man to do almost everything.
They've done quite well to have held on this long, and the child in their arms is their third baby.
The first two babies died prematurely due to various reasons. They originally planned to live a good life in the middle-level area and give birth to this third baby.
But it seems their wish has not yet been fulfilled, and disaster has struck again.
They finally arrived at the middle of the broadcasting building. Hou Ming and his wife had eaten and drunk their fill along the way, and the baby in their arms started crying and fussing, seemingly because of hunger.
The sound of a child crying echoed throughout the building, which was extremely jarring. Hou Ming looked embarrassed and then looked around before quietly asking Lu Yuan a question.
"Um... Brother Lu, do you think I should let my wife find a room to stay in? I'll go set up the live stream server right away?"
"Okay, no problem. It's not very safe down there. Let's find a room upstairs. The live broadcast room is on the seventh floor. If it's inconvenient for your wife, she can stay on the sixth floor or a floor lower. The first and second floors aren't very safe!"
"Okay, okay, thank you so much! I'll go arrange it right away and set up the server as quickly as possible so as not to waste any more time. Thank you so much!"
