The Demon Realm, Border City.
Today is the fifth day that Yue Jiuli has been staking out the border city. In these five days, she still hasn't found that guy Tanlang.
Whether it was because Tanlang was too badly injured or something else, Yue Jiuli never saw Tanlang once in that hotel, except for a large group of guards and the two-headed water dragon. She didn't even know which room he was in.
"Ugh, so annoying, where is that guy anyway?"
Feeling both annoyed and bored, Yue Jiuli sat on the windowsill in her room, her gaze fixed on the hotel entrance downstairs.
Because she was so fed up with hiding on the rooftop, Yue Jiuli ended up staying at that hotel. However, since Tanlang and his group had booked three floors, Yue Jiuli stayed on the floor above them.
Even though they stayed at the same hotel, Yue Jiuli still couldn't find Tanlang and could only sneak downstairs every night to wander around.
Tonight, Yue Jiuli, as usual, planned to take advantage of the night and try to wander around downstairs to see if she could find the location of Tanlang.
But before leaving, she came up with another idea.
As Yue Jiuli descended the stairs from the eighth floor, she saw the guards on the seventh floor. However, she dared not go up and do anything. These guards were all experienced, and she was afraid that if she did anything, she would be discovered immediately. So she could only pretend to be passing by and walked down the stairs, but as she left, she secretly left a little something on the stairs.
When Yue Jiuli reached the sixth floor, she secretly cast a small spell on the stairs.
"Buzz buzz buzz~"
Suddenly, a swarm of dark, thumb-sized wild bees flew in through the window at the top of the stairs on the seventh floor. They rushed up the stairs and scurried towards the seventh floor, stinging and biting anyone they saw!
"Holy crap! What is that? How can there be something like this?"
When the guards discovered the large swarm of wild bees, they were immediately at a loss, because these wild bees were not ordinary bee larvae, but were highly poisonous!
Come to think of it, how many small animals in the Demon Realm are ordinary species?
So, upon seeing these aggressive wild bees suddenly swarm in, all the guards panicked! They all tried their best to drive the wild bees away!
However, these wild bees were not so easy to drive away. They were like madmen, attacking anyone they could catch, even after the bees had all hidden inside the rooms! As a result, the seventh floor was thrown into chaos.
"Holy crap! How the hell did these wild bees get in?! Quick, chase them away!"
"Holy crap! I got bitten, damn it, it hurts like hell!"
"Help! What the hell is this? It seems to be poisonous?!"
The person who caused this chaos, Yue Jiuli, secretly hid to the side and chuckled. However, after seeing that the chaos on the seventh floor was caused by ordinary guards running around in the room, Yue Jiuli continued to lead the wild bees to the next floor.
In order to lure these wild bees here, Yue Jiuli went to great lengths, destroying the beehive and even faking the scent of wolves to attract them.
That's right, those wild bees track and attack people based on specific scents.
Soon, the three floors that the wolf clan had reserved were all taken over by the swarm of crazed wild bees. However, apart from the guards, none of the people who escaped came out. This left Yue Jiuli, who had been planning for so long to assassinate the wolf, feeling quite distressed.
"Tsk! How could this be? So many wild bees couldn't lure them out?"
Yue Jiuli crossed her arms and leaned against a secluded corner, beginning to observe each floor one by one. However, apart from a few guards running out and being chased and bitten by wild bees, she didn't see anyone else on the three floors.
Yue Jiuli's eyebrows were furrowed, still unable to understand. "How could this be? Wild bee venom is hard to cure. Aren't they afraid? Or were they not even in the hotel at all?"
Since Yue Jiuli couldn't see the two people she wanted to see, she guessed that Tanlang and the Double-Headed Water Dragon might have already left the hotel, otherwise why couldn't she see them?
But then she remembered that she had been staking out the hotel the whole time. If they had really run away, she should have noticed. How come she didn't see them leave?
Just as Yue Jiuli was having a headache, she suddenly saw the door open in a room near the end of the corridor on the sixth floor, and then a two-headed water dragon walked out of it.
"What are you doing? It's so noisy!"
The two-headed water dragon had no idea that wild bees had entered their territory, so as soon as it came out, it questioned the guards. But as soon as it finished speaking, it immediately discovered the wild bees scurrying around.
"Tsk! What is this?"
"Sir, this is a wild bee, and it's poisonous! Please be careful!"
A guard nearby reminded the two-headed water dragon.
The guards were terrified of the wild bees, but the two-headed water dragon was not afraid at all. It looked at the buzzing wild bees with both heads, and then one of its heads opened its mouth and spat out a stream of black liquid!
The black liquid looked disgusting and had a strange smell. When the black liquid was sprayed onto the wild bees, half of the wild bees that were still flying in the air were immediately knocked to the ground by the liquid and then dissolved!
