Chapter 335 Giant Serpent

A ghost messenger who appeared to be the leader shone a ghostly light on the giant snake above, then turned around and said, "Luckily, it's still there. By the way, where's the intruding soul? Where did it go?"

A ghost messenger standing nearby immediately replied, "According to the report from the guards, it was a female spirit with considerable magical power, but why can't we find her after we came in?"

There were seven or eight ghost messengers present, but they didn't see any souls after entering the place, so they began to search the area.

"Everyone, search quickly! She might still be hiding here, waiting for a chance to break her out of prison!"

As expected, Yue Jiuzai's guess was correct; they ultimately concluded that Yue Jiuzai had come to break them out of prison. However, while they were searching with the door open, the fake prison breaker secretly slipped out.

After exiting the stone gate, Yue Jiuzai followed the original path and finally climbed out through the ancient well.

"Phew~ Luckily we weren't discovered, otherwise it would have been so embarrassing. But who exactly is that giant snake down there?"

The human realm.

Around 10:30 p.m., Yue Jiuling and Ya Zi finished filming their stunt double scenes, and their wages were settled on the spot.

While drinking water, Feng Meng helped Ya Zi tidy up his costume and said, "Brother Long, Sister Jiu Ling, are you going back now? Or are you waiting for me to go together? If you wait for me, it might be a little later, but it won't be too late. The director is in a bit of a rush to film tonight, so it should only take about half an hour."

"Hmm, let's wait for you a bit~"

Yue Jiuzai had already changed her clothes. She sat down next to Ya Zi and said, "Anyway, we won't have to wait long. By the way, your director was in a bit of a rush today, wasn't he?"

"Of course! Was it really necessary to be in such a rush? My makeup was all ruined, and he wouldn't let me touch it up; he just went straight on..."

An actress standing nearby was also complaining. She was actually the actress who needed a body double for Yue Jiuling; she was the second female lead. However, she wasn't the only one complaining; there were other actors as well. They were all annoyed by the director's 'abnormal' behavior today.

"Cut! Where's your focus? Where's your focus? Can't you be serious? We have to finish this shoot today, or we won't be able to find this location again, hurry up!"

Seeing yet another actor being scolded by the director, Ya Zi looked puzzled. He felt that the director seemed very impatient, but it was just renting a location, why was he in such a rush?

Yue Jiuling was also puzzled, but she just raised her eyebrows and watched the director scolding without saying a word, because she wanted to wait for the director to give the answer himself.

Half an hour later, it was almost 11 o'clock, but the filming was still not finished. After the director finished explaining the scene to one of the actors, they immediately started filming again. However, the actor seemed to be in a bad state. His expressions were not right, or he forgot his lines, which made the director have to explain the scene to him again.

Another ten minutes or so passed, around 11:30, and the assistant director started checking the time frequently. He saw that the actor's scene still couldn't be finished, so he went to find the director.

"Cut! Stop! Never mind, you're still not good enough. I should have filmed Feng Meng's scenes first. There's not enough time now!"

The director actually wanted to film a few more takes, because Feng Meng only needed a few more shots, but because that actor wasted too much time, Feng Meng's scenes could not be finished.

Since it had been agreed beforehand that we would leave the village before midnight, the director told everyone to pack their things and prepare to leave.

While they were cleaning up, many people were curious because the courtyard was clearly uninhabited. Why didn't the village chief rent it to them for a longer period of time, and why did he insist that they leave before midnight?

Despite their curiosity, everyone was eager to pack up and leave, since it would be nice to be able to finish work and go home to rest.

The actors were the fastest to leave. After removing their makeup and changing their clothes, they were able to leave by car around 11:40 or 11:50. The props team was a bit slow, but with everyone's help, they managed to leave the village before noon. They then gathered at the village entrance to drive back.

Everything went smoothly. The director checked the time after getting into the car. It was 12:06 a.m. He had already left the village and gotten into the car.

"Phew~ Thank goodness we made it in time~"
