Chapter 429 Pigeons

"Hehe, any kind of amulet will probably be useless once it gets covered in bird droppings."

Mu Xiaoyi said smugly to the female ghost beside her, "You'll be going in soon. Once the talisman stops working, you can take your revenge."

"Okay, I understand. Thank you."

The female ghost nodded her thanks.

After the white dove flew away, it returned about ten minutes later, and it wasn't just one dove that came back, but a large group of its friends.

"Great, you guys behave yourselves. I'll treat you to dinner after this is all over~"

Yue Jiuling was delighted to see the large flock of pigeons. She glanced at Ya Zi, then flicked her finger at the female ghost's door, and a small hole the size of a soccer ball appeared on the tightly closed door.

"Alright, everyone go inside and get to work!"

As soon as the small hole opened, Yue Jiuling, Ya Zi, and Mu Xiaoyi immediately called the pigeons to crawl into the hole and enter the house!

"Coo coo coo~ Coo coo coo~"

A large flock of white doves scurried in through a hidden hole in the doorway and attacked people as soon as they entered. Before long, people outside could hear angry curses coming from inside!

"Good heavens, where did these damn pigeons come from?! And you even dared to peck at me!"

"Go to hell, go to hell! Damn it, you damn pigeons!"

"Son, son, husband! Come and help me right now!"

"Mom, Mom! Where did these damn birds come from? I'm going to kill them and cook them!"

"Honey, why did you buy so many pigeons?!"

"Ouch! That pecked me so hard! And it even pooped on me! I didn't buy them, and I don't know where they came from!"

Several voices could be heard coming from inside the house; it sounded like the woman's son and husband were home.

Upon hearing their voices, Yue Jiuling asked the female ghost, "By the way, doesn't your husband have to go to work? Didn't he say he runs his own clinic? Why is he home at this time?"

“There are other doctors in his clinic, but he and his son rarely go there.”

The female ghost said, "But this is good, they're all at home, so I don't have to go out to look for them."

"Yes, that's definitely a good idea."

Mu Xiaoyi also said, "It's about time, right? Once the pigeons come out, you can go in."

"Okay, I understand."

Listening to the sounds inside, Yue Jiuling thought it was about time, because she heard people inside shouting that they had been covered in bird droppings. So she said to Ya Zi, "Should I have Lao Cai bring some people over? I think turning ourselves in is too easy on them."

Because surrendering oneself is seen as showing remorse, the sentence is usually lighter. So Yue Jiuling felt that this was too lenient for them, and wanted Lao Cai and his men to arrest them.

"That works too. Okay, it's much quieter inside now, you can go in."

Ya Zi said to the female ghost, "Remember, don't kill her all at once!"

"OK, I understand."

The female ghost then walked straight through the door and into the room.

Not long after the female ghost went inside, some terrified sounds came from inside, but the three people outside ignored them and instead helped lock the door from the outside to prevent them from escaping.

The pigeons, on the other hand, flew out from another exit. They flew cautiously to Ya Zi and lined up in front of him, waiting for Ya Zi to speak.

Ya Zi said with satisfaction, "Hmm, you all did a great job. Here, these are your rewards. Hurry up and finish eating before you leave."

As he spoke, Ya Zi scattered a large handful of rice on the ground, and no one knew where he had conjured it up from.

"Huh? Where did you get all this rice?"

After seeing the rice, Mu Xiaoyi asked Ya Zi curiously.

Ya Zi smiled and said, "When that old woman opened the door just now, I saw a bag of rice on the table. Otherwise, I wouldn't have thought of asking the pigeons for help, so I just stole some out from a distance."

"Oh, so it's from their family. No wonder you came up with this idea. But it's good this way. I'll have Lao Cai bring his men over first."

In the end, Yue Jiuling called Lao Cai and asked him to bring people over to arrest them. After all, it wasn't enough to let the female ghost take revenge on her own; the law had to punish them!
