Mu Xiaoyi didn't dislike these kinds of places as much as Yue Jiuling. She also loved to have fun and sometimes came to these places to hang out after get off work. So when she heard Yue Jiuling's words, she laughed and said, "Oh, Jiuling, that's how bars are. Look how much fun they're having. Come on, don't be nervous. Let's have some fun and not give ourselves away."
As Mu Xiaoyi spoke, she pulled Yue Jiuling over to the bar, intending to order some drinks.
There were already a few men sitting at the bar, and when they saw them coming over, they all stared at the two of them. One of the men even came up to try and chat them up.
"Hi, beautiful, is this your first time here? I've never seen you before."
A man who looked like a thug walked over and tried to strike up a conversation with Yue Jiuling.
Yue Jiuling had never liked this kind of person, and under normal circumstances she would never talk to him. But now she was on a mission, so she resisted the urge to turn around and leave, and even smiled at the man and said, "Yes, it's my first time here."
Mu Xiaoyi noticed her best friend's predicament and stepped forward, saying, "Young man, do you come to this bar often? Then you must know which drinks here are the best. Tell us about them."
While they were chatting, in a corner of the bar, a pair of eerie eyes were secretly observing Yue Jiuling and her companion.
When Bai Xinyu brought Xiaobaicai into the bar, Xiaobaicai, like Yue Jiuling, was frightened by the deafening noise inside. However, he knew that this was how it was in such places, so he quickly got used to it.
After Bai Xinyu went in, she went straight to the bar as agreed, and then pretended to make friends with Yue Jiuling. After drinking, the group went up on stage and danced a few times. Finally, when it was almost time, they left the bar together.
As they left, Yue Jiuling clearly sensed that someone had followed them out.
Xiao Baicai doesn't drink alcohol, but he drank a little for the sake of acting. He can't hold his liquor and was already drunk when he left. Bai Xinyu was afraid that when the big fish came out, she wouldn't be able to take care of Xiao Baicai, so she let him get into Ye Dongfeng's taxi and turn into a little cabbage in the car so she could put him in her pocket.
Yue Jiuling and Mu Xiaoyi both had a good tolerance for alcohol, but they still pretended to be drunk when they came out. They helped each other to hail a taxi on the roadside, and when they couldn't get a taxi, they walked arm in arm to a secluded place in a daze.
After driving around in a small circle, Bai Xinyu and Ye Dongfeng returned to the scene, only to find that Yue Jiuling and the other person were gone. So they quickly called Ya Zi, who was waiting at the door.
As soon as Ya Zi answered the phone, he said, "You guys hurry west, Yin Ni and I are following them."
Upon hearing this, Bai Xinyu and the others immediately drove west to chase after them.
Beyond the west lies an old street, lined with residential houses. There are very few places with surveillance cameras, but Yue Jiuling and her companion deliberately headed that way to lure out the people following them.
The two, who had been pretending to be drunk the whole way, felt they had walked enough, so they simply pretended to be unable to walk anymore and sat down on the ground to talk.
"Xiao Yi, have we taken the wrong road? There are no cars on this road."
"Okay, that seems to be the case. Let's go back and find a car to go home."
The two fake drunkards struggled to their feet and tried to walk back.
Just then, two men reeking of alcohol suddenly appeared behind the two of them. They deliberately walked in front of Yue Jiuling and Mu Xiaoyi, blocking their way and saying, "Hey, where are you two young ladies going? Do you want us brothers to give you a ride?"
Yue Jiuling sensed that these two people were not monsters and guessed that they were not the big fish they were trying to catch, so she waved her hand and said, "No need, we'll go by ourselves."
The two men were indeed ordinary people. They followed Yue Jiuling and her companion hoping to take advantage of her. When they saw Yue Jiuling wave, they deliberately grabbed her hand and gave it a lewd sniff: "Mmm~ beautiful lady, you smell so good~"
Yue Jiuling was disgusted by the man's grasp and was about to retaliate when she suddenly sensed a faint demonic aura around her.
Upon sensing the demonic energy, she immediately suppressed the urge to hit someone and continued to feign drunkenness: "Hey, let go! You're so annoying~"
Mu Xiaoyi also noticed the demonic aura. She lowered her head and lay silently on Yue Jiuling's body, waiting for the 'big fish' to appear.
Meanwhile, Ya Zi and Yin Ni, who had been following them at a distance, joined Bai Xinyu. They noticed something and hid to the side, secretly observing everything.
The lewd man who was harassing Yue Jiuling was still holding onto her hand, and another man reached out to pull Mu Xiaoyi, who was pretending to be drunk. Just when the two were about to lose their temper and start hitting each other, the big fish finally appeared.
Yue Jiuling first smelled a faint fishy smell. She thought she had drunk too much and her nose was acting up. Otherwise, why would there be a fishy smell in this weird place?
However, after the monster appeared, she realized that her nose wasn't malfunctioning and the fishy smell was real. Three seconds later, a large catfish suddenly fell from the sky and slammed them to the ground with a 'bang!' The two lewd men were knocked unconscious on the spot!
"ah!"
"Holy crap! What the hell?!"
Yue Jiuling was dizzy from being hit, and a big bump had appeared on her head. When she smelled the fishy smell, got up, turned around, and saw a large catfish, she was immediately shocked. "Wow! What a huge fish!"
