Heavenly Realm
Ya Zi sat in a small fairy pavilion shrouded in celestial mist, holding a bottle of fine wine from a thousand years ago, drinking with the immortal Jun Moyu. He looked at the cranes flying around chasing and playing and said, "My friend, it's been a long time. How have you been?"
Since parting ways with Ya Zi in the mortal realm, Jun Moyu hadn't seen Ya Zi for some time, so he said, "Yes, it's been a while since I've seen you. But now that you've captured that witch, why do you still want to descend to the mortal realm again?"
When Ya Zi met Jun Moyu before, she told him that she still wanted to return to the human world.
Ya Zi put down his wine cup, then lay down on the pavilion and said, "Oh, my friend, you don't understand. Actually, I just crave the food of the human world. But let me tell you, there are so many good things down there. I think you should go down and see for yourself. Maybe you'll become so enamored with the human world that you won't want to leave."
Jun Moyu was speechless when he heard Ya Zi's reason. He never expected that Ya Zi would descend to the mortal realm because of his greed for these things.
Jun Moyu had actually been to the human realm before, so he knew how prosperous it was. However, he still declined, saying, "I see. But I won't go. The demon realm is eyeing us covetously lately, and given my position, it's really not appropriate for me to leave the celestial realm."
Ya Zi knew that Jun Moyu wouldn't leave the Heavenly Realm easily, so he could only say regretfully, "Alright, then go when you have time." After Ya Zi finished speaking, he got up to get some wine. He looked at Jun Moyu beside him and said somewhat embarrassedly, "Hey, by the way, my friend, I remember you seem to know a lot about that cat demon Yue Jiuling we met before, right? Could you tell me about her?"
"Yue Jiuling?" Jun Moyu remembered the name. He frowned and looked at Ya Zi, saying, "Why did you suddenly bring her up? You didn't run into her again in the human realm and then got into a fight with her again, did you?"
Jun Moyu knew Ya Zi's personality very well, so it was normal for him to suspect that Ya Zi had gotten into another fight, since the two had fought the very first time they met.
Ya Zi immediately realized that Jun Moyu had misunderstood, and he quickly said, "No, no, it wasn't about fighting. I just wanted to ask you about something, and besides, we're colleagues now..."
"Oh, so you've become colleagues. But asking about a cat demon isn't like you. You never used to pry into other people's business like that." Jun Moyu looked at Ya Zi with a smile, a little gossipy, and said, "So, why did you ask about her?"
Ya Zi felt a little guilty under Jun Moyu's gaze. He fidgeted and said, as if trying to cover something up, "Well, I just became her colleague in the human realm, so I wanted to get to know her better. Brother Moyu, please tell me quickly."
Although Jun Moyu didn't quite believe Ya Zi's explanation, he still talked about Yue Jiuling.
In a secret cave in the human realm
The Demon King Qingcheng was awakened by the cold. When he woke up, he found himself in complete darkness, as if he were in a pitch-black place where he couldn't see his own hand in front of his face.
"Hello? Is anyone there? Ouch~"
Qingcheng felt as if he were lying on a soft, large bed, so he tried to get up. But as soon as he moved, he felt a pain in his buttocks. Then he remembered that before he fainted, he seemed to have been bitten on the buttocks by a black snake!
"Is anyone here? Oh my god, my butt! Snakes these days have no manners. Why bite someone's butt of all places?"
Qingcheng groped around in the dark, rubbing his buttocks and cursing as he got up. He tried to get out of bed, but as soon as he put his feet on the ground, he felt as if he had stepped on something slippery, cold, and moving!
Qingcheng screamed in fright at the thing at her feet and jumped back onto the bed: "Ah! What is that?!"
A loud shout seemed to wake the thing beneath his feet. In the darkness, Qingcheng saw that the thing slowly stand up on its own, and then a male voice said to her in a low voice, "Madam, you're awake?"
"Holy crap! What the hell did you call me?!"
Qingcheng was shocked by this strange title. He sensed a demonic aura emanating from the thing in front of him, so he immediately attacked, wanting to strike first: "What kind of monster are you, daring to frighten me?!"
Just when Qingcheng thought her move would definitely kill her opponent, she found that her spiritual power seemed to be unusable, as if it had been sealed.
"Click~"
Suddenly, lights came on inside the cave. Qingcheng blinked at the light and closed his eyes briefly. When he opened them again, he found a gigantic two-headed snake standing right in front of him!
"Aaaaaah! What the hell are you?!"
Qingcheng was startled by the two-headed water dragon, then scrambled back onto the bed and hugged himself tightly. He trembled and said, "You, you, what are you? I, I'm telling you, I'm the Demon King of the Demon Realm! You can't eat me!"
Having lost his spiritual power, Qingcheng became a coward. He was actually quite timid, and if it weren't for his profound magical power protecting him, he would be a weakling.
When the two-headed water dragon saw Qingcheng's adorable appearance, it suddenly burst into laughter. It stretched its two big heads in front of Qingcheng and said, "Madam, don't be afraid. I won't eat you. I like you so much, how could I bear to eat you?"
Now Qingcheng could clearly see the appearance of the two-headed water dragon. He seemed to recognize it and said in confusion, "Madam, what a big head you are! Who is your madam? Don't call me that. Wait, you are the two-headed water dragon?"
