Kun Sheng realized something was wrong, picked up a military walkie-talkie, and questioned the vehicle that had cleared the way.
"Boss, the people at the checkpoint said that we are carrying too many weapons and they are going to confiscate them all."
"What? This is fucking amazing! Every time I come back, it's always this kind of treatment! Didn't you mention my name?"
"I reported it, but it didn't work."

Kun Sheng's smile froze, and he said in a hoarse voice:
"This guy looks unfamiliar. Is he newly transferred here?"
"My name is Kunsheng, and I'm good friends with your Captain Pan. Is Captain Pan here at the station?"
The deputy head of the checkpoint was clearly not buying it:
"Don't try to claim any connections. We don't have a Captain Pan here, only a Captain Ding..."
"What? Where did Pan Ming go? Why did you change personnel at your checkpoint?"
Kun Sheng was startled and thought to himself: This is bad.
