In front of a shop on the street, three police officers in olive green uniforms were confronting a group of men.
The shop's roller shutter door was mostly pulled up and covered in red paint.
On the ground near the entrance, a striking red character, over a meter in size, stood out:
【die】.
"Officer, this is clearly someone deliberately splashing red paint to cause trouble. Instead of investigating the troublemakers, you're interfering with us?"
Fengzi stood at the very front of his team and spoke with neither arrogance nor humility.
Standing next to him were Old Niu and Fatty Ma Baorong.
The group behind them consisted of several of Wanqi's core members and a number of renovation workers.
“We received complaints from nearby residents that your renovation noise is too loud and is affecting others.”
A police officer, who appeared to be in his thirties, frowned and said in an unfriendly tone.
"Who filed the complaint? What's wrong with the renovation making a little noise? This is clearly a case of the thief crying 'stop thief!' They splashed paint and are now trying to shift the blame! Damn it!"
Old Niu got impatient and couldn't help but curse.
"Comrade, please watch your words!"
The lead police officer's face darkened, and he pointed to the red paint on the ground, saying:
“We received complaints from the public, so naturally we came to handle it. As for the paint-throwing incident, you can report it to the bureau.”
"Now, let's address the noise issue first. Please stop the renovation immediately, install soundproofing, and then resume work."
Ma Baorong was furious.
Damn it, looks like we've been set up. These troublemakers are probably in cahoots with these police officers.
Or perhaps, these three police officers had been given prior notice.
They came here with no intention of dealing with the paint-throwing incident at all; instead, they used residents' complaints as a pretext to find fault with them.
“Officer, how can we install soundproofing on a storefront that’s several hundred square meters? You…aren’t you making things difficult for us?” Ma Baorong said with a bitter face.
"This is your problem, figure it out yourselves."
The lead police officer, with a cold face, continued:
"We came here specifically to inform you that work cannot begin until the soundproofing is installed."
"Damn it, are you even being reasonable?" Old Niu, his stubborn temper flaring up, pointed at the police officer in charge and started cursing.
"You dare to insult a police officer? Believe me, I'll take you back to the station right now!"
The police officer in charge got angry, pulled out his handcuffs, and was about to rush forward and arrest Lao Niu.
Ma Baorong was still a bit inexperienced and had never seen such a confrontation with the police before. He was so frightened that he involuntarily took a step back.
The expressions of the people behind him also changed.
Fengzi and Lao Niu are used to working together, and what kind of life-or-death situations haven't they experienced?
Seeing the hot-headed young policeman rush up, the two exchanged a smile.
As the police officers approached and reached out to grab him, Lao Niu nimbly dodged to the left and hooked his right foot.
With a "thump".
The police officer who rushed forward fell forward and landed face-first in the mud.
Wow!
The onlookers erupted in cheers.
They were all amazed by the old ox's bravery.
Right under the nose of the capital, how dare you assault a police officer?
Ignorance truly breeds fearlessness!
Seeing this, the remaining two policemen realized the seriousness of the situation and immediately drew their batons from their waists, rushing towards Lao Niu from the left and right.
As they approached, they shouted loudly:
"Squat down and put your hands behind your head!"
"If you resist again, we will have to use force!"
puff!
It's as if your people didn't use force just now.
Feng Zi gave a wicked smile, took a step forward, and kicked out with his right foot like lightning, striking the knees of the two police officers.
"Bang! Bang!"
Two dull thuds were heard, and the two policemen cried out in pain and fell forward to the ground, coincidentally landing right next to the officer in charge.
The crowd watching the commotion on the street erupted in uproar once again.
In their minds, law enforcers all possess an imperial aura, and their authority is inviolable.
Who would have thought that two seemingly ordinary outsiders would dare to assault a police officer in public?
This is a really big story; it's a bombshell right from the start.
Still reeling from the shock, Ma Baorong stared blankly at the three fallen policemen, his face pale and his lips trembling uncontrollably.
"Brother Niu, Brother Feng, this..."
Fengzi waved his hand: "This is none of your business. Let the workers continue working."
Ma Baorong's expression grew even more bitter.
He glanced at the crowd of onlookers, then looked back at the few construction workers who were trembling with fear, and could only sigh helplessly.
In full view of the public, he assaulted a police officer in the street.
This is a huge problem!
Sigh... It's been 10 minutes already, why hasn't the boss arrived yet?
"Pah! Pah!"
At this moment, the police officer who had fallen to the ground first got up and spat out two mouthfuls of bloody saliva.
His face was ashen, and his eyes were so cold they seemed to drip with ice water: "Resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer? You're finished. Get ready to go to jail!"
After saying that, he grabbed a police walkie-talkie and sent a signal requesting backup:
"This is Liu Xing from Team 3. We have located two suspects at No. 72, East Street, Wangfu Road. During the operation, the suspects resisted arrest and assaulted the police. We request backup!"
"Received. Does the suspect have a weapon?"
"No."
"Understood. Please be careful. Support will be there within 5 minutes!"
......
Policeman Liu Xing put down his walkie-talkie, his face frosty as he pointed at the two audacious outsiders in front of him:
"You think you're so tough, huh? You better stay put and don't even think about running away! You can run away, but you can't hide!"
Old Niu objected, retorting:
"Why should we run? You're the monk, your ancestors for eighteen generations were all monks!"
