This is a middle-aged man who looks quite refined, wearing a suit and gold-rimmed glasses. I don't know if he's selling insurance or real estate.
He clutched his waist, groaning, then pointed at their car: "So what if you're rich? You hit someone and didn't even get out to apologize!"
The driver felt wronged, believing he had encountered a staged accident scam today.
He got out of the car. "Sir, are you alright?"
The middle-aged man pointed at the driver's nose, looking defiant and demanding: "Are you sure you're okay? Try hitting me yourself!"
"I have to say, you rich people are really arrogant, sending just your driver to apologize?"
Li Qinghuai, recognizing that this kind of person cared about saving face, got out of the car accompanied by bodyguards.
Recently, perhaps because Jiang Si has been taking good care of Qi Yan, she often gives him some pills, which make him look rosy-cheeked and energetic, not at all like a man in his seventies.
Most importantly, he no longer needs crutches; his legs are better than some young people's, and climbing five floors in one go is no problem for him.
Li Qinghuai walked up to the man and said in a good-natured manner, "It was my driver who hurt you. Would you like someone to accompany you to see a doctor?"
The middle-aged man sized up Li Qinghuai and said, "You're his boss, right?"
"I won't try to extort money from you anymore, just apologize to me."
"I'm sorry," Li Qinghuai readily agreed.
As if he hadn't expected things to go so smoothly, the middle-aged man thought for a moment, then rubbed his hands together reluctantly. "Alright then, since you're being sincere, let's shake hands and make peace."
The bodyguard tried to stop him, but Li Qinghuai blocked him and reached out his hand first.
"Hey, you're lucky you recognized my face!"
A conflict was averted without a trace.
Back in the car, the bodyguard said, "Sir, you shouldn't have had any contact with him. What if he has a weapon?"
Li Qinghuai chuckled: "Don't think so badly of people."
As soon as Qi Yan stepped out of the school gate, he saw Li Qinghuai and immediately ran over, shouting loudly, "Grandpa!"
Li Qinghuai laughed so hard his face turned as white as a chrysanthemum: "Hey!"
Qi Yan rushed into Li Qinghuai's arms, sniffing the air. "Grandpa, where have you been? Why do you smell strange?"
Li Qinghuai curiously picked up his sleeve and sniffed it. "Nothing there."
He worriedly thought, "It can't be that he smells like an old man, can it?"
Qi Yan took another sniff, and the smell had disappeared.
"Maybe I smelled it wrong?" Qi Yan muttered.
With so many people here, it's not surprising that there are some strange smells.
