Chapter 11 The June Bride Murder Case (Part 2)

[Let me clarify first, I genuinely didn't know how to write at first. There's a trial post in the comments section; you can check it out there.]

[Don't even mention you guys, I want to slap myself when I read this. Why did I write such idiotic stuff?]

[Secondly, I didn't intend to write sodium hydroxide that way. The Chinese version of the manga and the anime I have also translated it that way. What are you yelling at me for? If you think there's a problem, go find 73 or the translation team!]

[The bloodbath issue is another one. Damn it, that's how it's drawn in the anime, that's how it's drawn in the manga, what are you yelling at me for?]

After Junyan complained that Sayuri had been drinking lemon tea that had no nutritional value, Sayuri's expression changed and she looked a little sad, but she quickly returned to her previous state.

Ran and Sonoko returned after buying batteries. Sonoko pointed at Toshihiko and said, "You're the heir to the Takasugi Group, aren't you?"

Xiaolan turned her head and asked, "You know him, Sonoko?"

While Sonoko was introducing Toshihiko, whom she knew, Sayuri suddenly pounced on him and kissed him.

Seeing this, everyone except for Kōyū, who had a thick skin, blushed, including the suddenly attacked Toshihiko.

Junyan was also called away by someone else because the ceremony was about to start. Sayuri took the lemon tea and said she would go over right away.

The group went out the door and prepared to go to the hall.

Just then, the sound of the jar hitting the ground caught everyone's attention. Conan and Kouyu rushed to the door, pushed it open, and saw Sayuri fall to the ground with a thud.

As Guangyou watched Xiaobaihe fall to the ground, a flame seemed to ignite in his heart.

Without saying anything, he knelt down and began to perform first aid on Xiaobaihe.

Conan looked at Kōyū's figure and felt a sense of unfamiliarity.

Conan had always thought that Mitsuyu was just an ordinary child.

Aside from being a bit smarter and having a more tragic background, there's nothing else to it.

Guangyou has always seemed carefree and thoughtless.

However, this time, Guangyou gave him a strange feeling.

His gaze towards Guangyou changed slightly, and he thought: This kid is not right, there's definitely something wrong with him, I need to keep an eye on him.

The doctor arrived at the scene quickly, took Xiaobaihe away, and prepared to take her to the hospital for treatment.

Guangyou clenched his fist, and you could tell from his trembling that he was very angry, extremely angry!

Guangyou walked over to the spilled lemon tea, smelled it, and said to everyone, "It's sodium hydroxide. Someone put sodium hydroxide in the lemon tea. There are also some capsule shells here. The perpetrator used the capsule method to make it difficult to determine the time of the crime after the poison melted."

Kōyū turned around, looked at everyone, and said, "This means that everyone in the bride's room is a suspect, including Inspector Matsumoto."

Inspector Megure was visibly flustered: "How could this be? Would the sheriff really do this to his own daughter...?"

Kiyonaga Matsumoto interrupted Inspector Megure: "That's right, the kid is right, I am also a suspect."

Kōyū picked up the video camera next to him, took out the videotape, and then Inspector Megure and the other police officers began to watch it over and over again.

Guangyou then searched for clues throughout the room.

Time passed quickly, and the sun was about to set, but Guangyou couldn't find any clues anywhere.

At this moment, Junyan said, "Lemon tea, every time Xiaobaihe drinks lemon tea, I think of a girl I really liked when I was a child. Every time I gave her lemon tea, she would act like it was delicious, but I didn't even know her name."

As she said this, Ichimi gave Junyan a fierce look.

Kōyū noticed this, and at the same time, he thought about what Toshihiko had just said and felt like he had heard such a story somewhere before. Then he was suddenly shocked: the story that Matsumoto-sensei told sounded like the one that Toshihiko told. Could it be him?

Conan also clearly realized something, and the two of them looked at Toshihiko at the same time.

At this point, the forensic report came out. After calculation, it was determined that the poisoning occurred before 1:30 a.m., and there were no Matsumoto Kiyoharu fingerprints on the jar!

Matsumoto Kiyonaga was clearly very unhappy. He turned on the video camera and replayed the part where he picked up the can: "How is that possible? That's exactly how I picked up the tube. How could there be no fingerprints on it!"

Kouyu and Conan approached the video camera and played it for a while. It was obvious that Conan and Kouyu noticed something was wrong, because Sonoko definitely didn't take the lemon tea with her when she left.

Conan asked about the situation in more detail, and Kōyū heard that the fingerprints of Umemiya were not on the jar, which was that narcissistic senior.

Kōyū said fiercely, "Conan-kun, I know who the culprit is."

Conan looked at Kōyū: "I know too."

Both of them said at the same time, "It's that bastard!"

Unable to contain his anger, Kōyū walked up to Takasugi Toshihiko, forcing back his rage, and said with a smile, "Toshihiko-nii, could you squat down for a moment?"

Although Junyan was curious, he still squatted down, patted Guangyou's head, and asked, "Little friend, what's wrong?"

At this moment, Kōyū's anger clearly reached its limit. He pressed the button on his wristband, grabbed Jūn-yō's hand, and forcefully threw him over his shoulder. This time, Kōyū did not hold back, and his strength increased significantly due to his anger.

Junyan was thrown to the ground and struggled for a moment but did not get up. Ignoring the surprised looks of the crowd, Guangyou walked up to Junyan and kicked him in the stomach again.

"What are you doing? If I don't teach you a lesson, I think your brain is full of mush!"
