Upon receiving Ai's affirmative response, Kousuke smiled as well.
The reason Ai didn't tell him about today's events was probably because she didn't want him to get involved in these things.
This was also a problem that Ai had been struggling with before.
But these things are nothing to Guangyou.

After talking to Ai, Kōyū changed to a cheerful topic.
He deliberately feigned displeasure and said to Ai:

Then, he said to Ai:
"Don't forget to eat more."
"Tell me if it's not enough."

Nodding, Ai said, "That's enough."
"If you behave well, there might be a surprise."
"A surprise? What surprise?" Xiao Ai suddenly asked curiously.
However, Kwangyu didn't want to tell her right now.
So he kept it a secret:
You'll find out soon enough.

Today, Kōyū is still staying here to take care of Ai.
After taking a shower and changing into his pajamas, Kōyū was sitting on the edge of Ai's bed.
Meanwhile, Ai was leaning against the headboard, looking at Kyou.
She asked:
"Can you tell me now?"
What's the surprise?
Out of curiosity about the surprise, Ai asked several times after dinner.
But Guangyou still said the same thing:
You'll find out soon enough.
It's almost time for bed now, so you should know by now, right?
"Yes, you can talk about it now."
"I'll go get it."
After saying that, Guangyou walked to the table in the room.
He took a plastic bag with waterproof tape on it from a cabinet.
After handing the plastic bag to Ai, Kōyū then went to get the tape recorder used for playing cassette tapes.
Upon opening the plastic bag, Ai saw a sealed bag inside containing several cassette tapes.
She examined it carefully and found that the tape also had numbers from one to twenty.
"A cassette tape?"
Looking up at Kōyū, Ai saw that he had placed the tape recorder next to her.
Afterwards, Kousuke said to Ai:
"This is the surprise."
"As for what it contains, you'll find out once you listen to it."
"Um."
Nodding in agreement, Ai casually took a cassette tape from the sealed bag and put it into the tape recorder.
After plugging the recorder into the power source, Ai pressed the play button.
The tape recorder then began playing the tape.
First, there is a brief period of blank content.
Immediately afterwards, a clear yet gentle female voice rang out:
"Give me Shiho, who is now eleven years old."
"Happy birthday to you!"
For Guangyou, this voice was not unfamiliar.
In that dream, Elena's voice was exactly the same as the one he was hearing now.
This led Guangyou to wonder, "Could it be that the dream was really not simple?"
He didn't think about the issue deeply, and after regaining his composure, he turned his attention to Ai.
For Ai, this voice was completely unfamiliar.

"These are the tapes your mother left you before the accident."
Each number represents your age.
"This section covers the period from when you were one year old to when you were twenty."
Seeing Ai's disbelief, a stark contrast to her usual composure, Kousuke smiled and said to her:
"This is not a surprise I prepared for you."
"It was prepared for you by your mother."
With Mitsuyu's approval, Ai's fingers trembled slightly as she pressed the play button.
Immediately afterwards, Elena Miyano's voice rang out again:
Have you been a good child?
"You should have a boy you like by now, right?"
Although Ai knew that Elena Miyano was deaf, she still answered the question:
No, Mom.
The person I liked appeared when I was eighteen.
"His name is Guangyou."
She spoke the name of the person in her heart, word by word.
