The recording from when I was eleven years old has ended.
But at this moment, their emotions were still churning.
After wiping his eyes with the back of his hand and sniffing, Kwangyu said in a still-unsettled tone:
Do you remember when I told you this morning I was going out?
Upon hearing this, Ai understood what Kousuke meant.
She peered through the transparent plastic bag at the cassette tape inside and whispered:
"You went there to get this?"
“Yes.” Guangyou nodded.

She quickly connected this to what happened today.
Then, she looked at Guangyou and asked:
"You probably found it in the restroom of that firm, right?"
"In the water tank?"
"Um."
After nodding in agreement, Kwang-woo explained:
"Actually, Mingmei told me about this thing a while ago."
"Because her situation is rather special, she asked me to go and get it."
"The day I promised you I'd come back early, I went over there to check it out and scout it out."
"Later, due to some reasons, it was only today that I was able to get these tapes back."
After Kōyū finished explaining, Ai revealed what she had previously thought:
"I thought those people had taken it."
"My sister is still misleading me."
After placing Ai's hand between his own, Kōyū said with a smile:
"Mingmei also wanted to give you a surprise."
"Me too."
"That's why I've been keeping it from you."
"I'll pretend I don't know anything about this, just for the sake of the tape."
Upon hearing Ai's words, Kōyū chuckled softly.
After chatting about unrelated topics for a while, both of them calmed down a bit.
Recalling that recording, Kwang-woo couldn't help but sigh:
"Your mother is such a gentle person!"
After nodding in agreement, Ai also said:
"This really shattered my expectations."
"I thought my mother was really the gloomy and taciturn person that was rumored to be."
After Ai finished speaking, Kousuke shared his own opinion:
“Your mother may not be good with words when she’s out in public, but she’s definitely not gloomy.”
"On the contrary, she is a person who can bring warmth to others."
That's the feeling that Elena Miyano gave him.
Even now, he hasn't forgotten that embrace from his dream.

As soon as she finished speaking, Ai leaned her head on Kyou's shoulder.

"Then we won't run away."
Just kidding, Kōyū suddenly remembered what Ai had said to "Miyano Elena" earlier.
He then turned to look at Ai and asked:
"Ai, could you repeat what you just said?"
Which sentences?
As soon as she asked the question, Ai knew the answer.
A beautiful pink blush immediately appeared on her cheeks.
She didn't mean to say that in front of Guangyou.
She didn't even pay attention to it at the time.
Upon hearing her mother's words, she unconsciously voiced these thoughts from her heart.
After hesitating for a moment, Ai said to Kousuke:
"I said, the person I like..."

After staring into Ai's watery eyes for a while, until Ai's face turned slightly red, Kōyū finally stood up.
He took the tape out of the tape recorder and put it into the sealed bag.
He put the tape recorder back in its original place.
When Mitsu sat back down next to Ai, he saw that Ai was staring at the tapes.
He could understand that feeling.
