"But then again, I feel like I've seen you somewhere before."
Uncle Mori realized that the person wearing the hat in front of him seemed somewhat familiar.
"Who exactly are you?"
After all, this is the crime scene, and unauthorized personnel should not be present to avoid disturbing the police investigation.
The man said with some disappointment, "Please, you guys are really forgetful. I only disappeared for a short time, and you've already forgotten me so quickly? I finally came back, and you guys are really heartless!"
Then, he took off his hat and said, "I am Shinichi Kudo."
Uncle Mori, Inspector Megure, and even Takagi standing to the side all stared wide-eyed, looking on in disbelief.
Ran's mind went blank: "If this is Shinichi, then what about the Kamen Rider?"
Thinking of this, a blush suddenly appeared on her face, but then she frowned: "Why do I always feel that Shinichi is a little strange?"
The onlookers were all shocked, most of them students from the high school. The school's controversial figure had disappeared for a long time and had returned at this moment!
Guangyou couldn't stand it any longer, so he shook his head and stepped forward, saying, "Blackie, can you please stop embarrassing yourself?"
At this moment, Shinichi looked flustered: "What are you talking about? I'm Shinichi Kudo! Solving the case is the priority!"
Kazuha, curious, stepped forward and asked, "Weren't you not coming? What's with all that powder on your face? Are you here to perform?"
Amidst Shinichi's flustered gaze, Kazuha reached out and wiped her face. Instantly, the skin tone of the wiped area changed, creating a stark contrast with the rest of her skin.
Seeing that he couldn't keep up the act any longer, "Shinichi" quickly took out a handkerchief and wiped off the foundation on his face: "That's right, that's right, I was disguised as Shinichi Kudo, I came here to liven things up!"
After saying that, Hattori scratched his head and gave an awkward laugh.
To Kōyū's surprise, Uncle Mori and Inspector Megure actually believed it!
This is the most outrageous one ever.
Hattori crouched down, leaned close to Kōsuke's ear, and asked, "Are you trying to be really disrespectful to me? I think my disguise is so convincing! I'm sure I can get away with it!"
Kōyū slapped his forehead hard: "Your foundation looks so unnatural, and besides, what's with that Kansai accent?"
"Hehe, it seems so." Hattori laughed awkwardly. He thought he had disguised himself quite well, but the reality was much harsher than he expected.
Kōyū looked at Hattori, who was still looking embarrassed, and asked, "Didn't I say you didn't need to do anything? I've already made arrangements."
Hattori retorted confidently, "What if the antidote fails? I'm here to save the day! Look, that guy hasn't even arrived yet!"
Guangyou quietly pointed to the black-clad knight standing behind Xiaolan, but didn't say anything.
Hattori looked in the direction Kousuke pointed, and when he saw the black-clad knight, he instantly understood. He clapped his hands and said, "Oh, so you've been here for a while."
"Isn't your reaction a bit too slow?" Guangyou complained.
"Sorry, I was just observing where Kudo would hide, I didn't watch the show at all."
The black-clad knight was, of course, Shinichi Kudo in disguise. Mitsuyu could clearly see that he wanted to step forward and deduce the truth, but he always managed to control his desires.
After giving him a simple hint, Xin nodded, then pulled the bewildered Xiaolan to a secluded corner.
Ran guessed the identity of the black knight as well. She hesitated for a moment before asking, "Is it you, Shinichi?"
Shinichi slowly removed his helmet, revealing the face Ran had been longing for.
Ran felt conflicted. On one hand, there was Shinichi, and on the other hand, there was Conan, whom she suspected was Shinichi. She couldn't help but doubt her own thoughts.
Shinichi stared into Ran's eyes until she blushed slightly before saying, "I'm back."
Upon hearing these words, the familiar feeling instantly brought Xiaolan to tears. Two lines of tears appeared on her cheeks, but she did not speak.
Xiao Lan missed him terribly after not seeing him for so long, but when the person she missed finally stood before her, she couldn't utter a word.
Shinichi reached out and wiped away Ran's tears, then hugged her tightly and whispered in her ear, "I'm sorry."
A thousand words were condensed into an apology, the richness of the emotion causing Xiaolan to burst into tears again, soaking the shoulders of Shinichi's costume.
Shinichi felt the body of the beauty in his arms trembling slightly, and the sobbing in his ear made him want to hold her like this forever, but the antidote was only temporary, and he would have to leave sooner or later.
After a long while, he finally made up his mind and said, "Lan, I came back today specifically for you. I may have to leave for a while longer."
At this point, Shinichi paused slightly and said, "I'm sorry."
Xiaolan isn't unreasonable. Men need to have their careers, and everyone has their own things to do. As long as the other person remembers that there's someone waiting for him behind him, that's enough.
All she wanted was this. She released Shinichi, looked up at him, and as Shinichi was about to speak, she put a finger to his lips. She shook her head; she didn't need Shinichi to apologize.
Time seemed to stand still. The two looked at each other, the distance between them slowly closing, and they both closed their eyes.
"Then we can classify this case as a suicide."
Inspector Megure's words made Shinichi stop in his tracks. Ran opened her eyes, looked at the hesitant Shinichi, and smiled. She let go of Shinichi's hand and patted him. Shinichi looked at Ran with a hint of confusion, not knowing what she was thinking.
