Post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD for short.
In short, it is a mental disorder caused by severe stimulation.
The simplest and most understandable example is "once bitten by a snake, twice shy".
Vermouth's disguise was too convincing before.
This has led Conan to still doubt the authenticity of the Shinichiro Aragaki in front of him.
"Conan, what are you trying to do?"
Seeing Conan's unreasonable behavior, Ran quickly stepped forward and asked Conan to let go.
She then apologized to Tomoaki Araide on Conan's behalf:
"Excuse me, new doctor."
Are you alright?
"It's okay, I'm fine." Shinichi Tomoaki didn't care about any of this.
He understood Conan's feelings at that moment.
What if he found out that one of his friends was someone else in disguise?
The next time he sees him, he will have the thought, "Is it someone else pretending, or is it real?"
Then, he put his hand to his mouth and whispered something to Conan:
“That FBI agent named Judy has already told me.”
"She told me that a bad person had impersonated me and was planning to do something bad."
"That's why they sent us to the United States for a while."
"But Grandma and Xiaoguang, who went with me, are having some trouble adjusting to the new environment..."
"Later I heard that the bad guy ran away because his identity was exposed."
"So they wanted to go back to Beika Town."
"And I heard that person probably won't impersonate me anymore."
"Other doctors have already gone to the hospital in Aomori to take my place."
"So, I came back again."
Seeing the two whispering to each other, Sonoko curiously leaned closer and tried to listen.
She was curious about what Araide Tomoaki and Conan had to talk about.
In her memory, Conan and Araide Tomoaki had only met a few times.
In the few times they met, the two didn't seem to talk much.
We're not really friends; at most, we're strangers whose names I know.
Moreover, she felt that Conan sometimes looked at Araide Tomoaki as if he were looking at an enemy.
No one knows what happened between the two.
However, she heard nothing.
After hearing Araide Tomoaki's explanation, Conan was somewhat puzzled.
He also put his hand to his mouth and asked Shinichi Tomoaki in a low voice:
"But why are you telling me all this?"
He suspected that Shinichiro Araide already knew his true identity.
Otherwise, why would you talk to a "primary school student" about this?
Shin-Ide Tomoaki's answer was simple:
"Because Judy told me that you would be very surprised when you saw me."
"So let me tell you about this."
However, Shinichi never mentioned Kousuke.
After listening to their conversation, Kwangyu thought to himself:
"It seems Judy didn't tell Shinichi about me."
"good."
This is also Conan's idea:
"It seems Judy didn't tell Niide Tomoaki my identity."
He nodded, indicating that he understood.
They were also complaining:
"Judy really has a twisted sense of humor..."
"Why didn't you just send me a text message to tell me about this?"
“And he even had Shinichi Araide tell me all this himself.”
After the two finished whispering to each other, Sonoko suddenly suggested:
"By the way, Dr. Araide, why don't you help us investigate the recent paranormal events?"
"A paranormal event?" Shinichi blinked, still not understanding what had happened.
He had only recently returned to Beika Town from the United States.
Naturally, no one had heard of the paranormal events that almost everyone in the school knew about during this period.
...
In the end, Tomoaki Niide accepted the invitation and decided to help with the investigation.
As if to complement the paranormal event, the sky was covered with dark clouds, making it gloomy and overcast.
The "drama queen" Sonoko opened the warehouse door and introduced the items to the group in a low voice:
"This is where the first paranormal event occurred."
"The Sighing Stadium Warehouse"
After the paranormal event occurred, the students even gave it a simple and clear name that made it obvious what had happened.
Xiaolan, who was afraid of these things, hid behind the garden.
She only poked her head out, looking into the dark warehouse.
Then, Sonoko recounted the story of the "Sighing Gymnasium Warehouse" in a horror story-telling tone:
"This paranormal event occurred on a rainy morning..."
"Several female gymnasts came here to pick up their morning exercise supplies."
“A low sob could be heard coming from the warehouse, which should have been empty.”
"The sound of sobbing echoed incessantly in the warehouse."
"Several girls were startled."
"They were so frightened that they turned and ran away on the spot."
"A minute or two later, when they returned with the rest of the team, the sobbing had stopped."
As she spoke, Sonoko walked into the warehouse and came to something covered with a cloth.
Then she abruptly pulled back the cloth covering it and continued:
"The warehouse was empty except for this desk."
"And this desk belongs to the boy who died mysteriously at school two years ago..."
"The desk that the boy named Hideaki Hosaka used!"
Actually, the story of the garden is told quite vividly.
However, after hearing this story, Kouyu, Conan, and Araide Tomoaki all remained calm.
Guangyou even yawned.
He felt that such ghost stories wouldn't scare even a three-year-old.
