Once the car disappeared from sight, Professor Agasa secretly breathed a sigh of relief.
He wasn't expecting Fusae to leave, but rather because he was feeling a little nervous.
Having the courage to face one's own inner feelings is one thing;
Being able to communicate normally with Fusae is one thing;
Worrying about her image in Fusa's mind is another matter entirely.
He doesn't clean the house often, especially the research room.
It would be very upsetting if the chaotic environment affected his image in Fusa's eyes.
Fortunately, Mitsuyu and Ai clean the living room every week, so the overall environment looks okay.
You can't see those little corners and edges behind the TV unless you look closely.
It shouldn't have had any impact, right?
Even Dr. Agasa wasn't entirely sure about this.
He could only hope that their time together today would leave a good impression on Fusae.
After seeing Fusae off, Ayumi and the other two went to play video games.
Kōyū, still standing outside, looked at the dazed Professor Agasa and coughed a few times.
"Cough cough cough..."
The cough brought Professor Agasa back to his senses.
"Doctor, have you decided when to ask Aunt Fusa out?" Kōyū asked directly, without beating around the bush.
"I haven't decided yet." Dr. Agasa blushed and shook his head.
Looking up at Professor Agasa, Kōsuke spoke to him in a tone of "having been there, done that":
"I think you should really think about this, Doctor."
"Men need to take the initiative."
He didn't immediately suggest where Professor Agasa should go on a date.
Because both of them have rather special circumstances, and they are both quite old.
People around fifty years old can't go to amusement parks to ride roller coasters or haunted houses, which are fun but very exciting rides.
It's estimated that only visually appealing attractions like Ferris wheels or parades would suit the two of them.
It's not bad, but the idea that "amusement parks are for young people" still exists in the minds of some older people.
Watching a movie is a good option.
Going skiing in Hokkaido is also a good option.
Thinking about it carefully, there are quite a few places to visit.
It all depends on what choice Dr. Agasa makes.
From this large group of places, Kōyū selected a few and told them to Dr. Agasa.
This includes choosing a day when the amusement park has a parade, or finding a good movie, or going skiing, etc.
Dr. Agasa couldn't make a decision right away.
He had no choice but to write these places down and think about them carefully later.
Guangyou was right before; he's getting on in years, and he really should consider getting married.
However, he hadn't met the right person before, and others might not have been interested in him.
Now that he's met a woman who seems, probably, or possibly has some feelings for him, and who also has feelings for him, it's time to plan his future carefully.
