“...”
This was something Guangyou hadn't expected.
"Okay, okay, I told you."
Seeing that Ai didn't take it to heart, Kōyū breathed a sigh of relief.
"But don't worry."
"I...I just wasn't mentally prepared yet."
After whispering those two sentences, Ai lowered her head slightly, her brown hair falling down to cover her rosy cheeks.
Guangyou naturally understood what it meant.
He doesn't mind the lack of seasoning, but it would certainly be better with seasoning.
Upon hearing these two sentences, Guangyou chuckled and said:
"Take your time to prepare, there's plenty of time."
"Mmm," Ai responded with a nasal tone.
...
After taking several seconds to calm herself down, Ai looked up at Kousuke with disdain and said:
"How come I never knew you had this side to you?"
But judging from the fact that she was holding Guangyou when she said this, it looked like a casual banter between lovers.
"After spending a lot of time together, their true nature comes out," Ai teased.
"Ahem, it's mainly because it's you!" Guangyou denied this claim.
"So it's still my fault?" Ai understood the implication in Kousuke's words:
"It's all because of you that things have turned out this way."
"It's because you're so cute." Kōyū chuckled, admitting the statement.
"Heh~" Ai's lips curled up, but she seemed unmoved by the gesture and gave a cold laugh.
Guangyou was already aware of her proud and arrogant personality.
He looked down at Ai, who was lying in his arms like a kitten, and smiled as he reached out to brush the hair that had fallen in front of her face away.
Then he leaned in and gently kissed her forehead.
The two cuddled in bed for a while longer before getting up to wash and prepare breakfast for everyone.
After changing his clothes, Kōyū was kicked out of the room by Ai.
He glanced back at the closed door and chuckled softly.
On his way upstairs, Kōyū called Conan, who was probably still next door, to wake him up and ask him what he wanted to eat for breakfast.
However, no one answered the phone.
After washing up, Guangyou noticed that the others were still asleep, so he decided to make some wontons to reduce the noise while making breakfast and avoid disturbing their sleep.
Luckily, there was some leftover meat in the fridge from last night's cooking.
After kneading the dough and preparing the filling, Xiao Ai and I wrapped the wontons together and put them directly into the pot after the water boiled.
While waiting for the wontons to be cooked, Ai was observing Kyou.
She hadn't forgotten that Guangyou had gone out to make a phone call last night.
She's been guessing what happened since last night.
But all she could think about was how to proceed and destroy the organization.
Since Guangyou is keeping it from her, he must not want her to know.
She made her guesses, but never asked Guangyou.
She hadn't observed anything yet; Kōyū was just like always, no different.
Humming an unnamed tune, Guangyou glanced at the wontons in the pot with a spoon.
Seeing that it wasn't fully cooked, he poured the wontons from the spoon back into the pot.
At that moment, he noticed that Ai was staring at him.
Unaware that he was being suspected, Kōyū, in a rather narcissistic manner, asked Ai:
"Don't I look especially handsome today?"
"It's nothing special." How could Ai possibly indulge Kousuke?
Although she had this thought in her mind, she wouldn't say it aloud.
To cover up the past, she pointed to the corner of her lips and said to Guangyou:
"You have some flour on here."
There was no mirror nearby, so Kōyū wiped his mouth with his hand and then asked Ai:
Are they still available?
"That's all." Ai gestured to the wontons in the pot. "They should be ready by now, right?"
Guangyou checked the wontons again with a spoon, nodded, and stretched out his hand:
"It's almost done."
"Ai, could you pass me that bowl over there?"
"Hmm." Ai handed the bowl containing the base ingredients to Kousuke.
After serving the wontons, Guangyou went to wake up Dr. Agasa and the others.
After waking up several gamers and one who had been unable to sleep for half the night after seeing his first love, Guangyou took the packaged wontons and went next door to call Conan.
She goes back and forth like a mother hen.
Watching Kōyū's busy figure, Ai frowned slightly:
What is he hiding from me?
Given the current lack of any clues, it would be a miracle if Ai could guess the answer.
...
Carrying his lunchbox, Kōyū arrived at the Kudo residence next door. Instead of going to the bedroom, he went directly to the study.
Sure enough, Conan was found sleeping at his desk.
There was an open book on the desk.
He glanced at it and, as he expected, it was a mystery novel.
"It really is here."
After placing the bento box on the table, Kōyū took out his phone, found a song with a very energetic (loud) opening, placed it next to Conan's ear, and pressed play.
A very energetic piece of music was playing from the phone.
Conan, who was fast asleep, woke up with a snap, very quickly.
His body reacted, but he was still somewhat confused.
Although Kōsuke can't read minds, he can probably guess what Conan is thinking at this moment.
The three main problems are likely:
"who I am?"
Where am I?
What happened?
After a few seconds, Conan realized he was awake.
He looked at Guangyou, who was standing to the side grinning mischievously, and said with great dissatisfaction:
