"good."
After responding, Conan sat down at his desk, opened his lunchbox, and started eating wontons.
Guangyou stood in front of the bookshelf, flipping through the design-related book in his hand.
The reason he specifically packed the wontons and brought them over instead of asking Conan to come and eat them was because he wanted to stay in the Kudo family's study.
Whether you're a detective or a mystery writer, you need to have some knowledge in various fields.
If he wants to read books about design, he doesn't need to go all the way to the Beika Library; he can find them in the Kudo residence's study.
You can find almost any type of book here.
It's certainly not as complete as a library, but it has one or two books of each type.
The book he had wasn't very thick, and it had quite a few pictures, so he read it relatively quickly.
Conan had only finished eating wontons a few minutes before he finished reading the book in his hand.
"If you want to keep watching, then keep watching. I'm leaving now."
After putting the book back on the shelf and taking the empty lunchbox, Kōyū said goodbye to Conan and prepared to leave.
Seeing Kōyū turn to leave, Conan asked in surprise:
"You came here specifically to read books?"
"Yeah, what else?"
After answering, Kōyū looked Conan up and down with a strange expression.
He suddenly thought of something and took a step back.
"You don't have any inappropriate thoughts about me, do you?"
"Although I have no prejudice against this type of person, I want to state that my orientation is normal."
"I know I'm a good person, handsome, and a great cook, but there's no way we can be together. You should give up now!"
“...”
"Who would have feelings for you?"
"My orientation is perfectly normal, okay!"
"You know that already!"
Even after refuting himself, Conan's emotions were still somewhat turbulent.
“You may appear to be heterosexual, but who knows what’s in your heart?” Guangyou took another step back and said this.
Sighing silently, Conan didn't argue with Kōyū about it.
He knew Kwang-woo was joking, so there was no need to argue with him. He simply explained:
"I thought you had something to talk to me about."
"So it was a bit strange to see you leaving so soon, so I asked you about it."
"If we really have to talk about something, there is something," Guangyou said to him after thinking for a moment, "but it's nothing serious."
"What is it?" Conan asked.
"I might come to your study to borrow a book later, so I'll let you know first," Guangyou replied.
That's it?
"Okay, that's it."
After giving an affirmative answer, Kōyū rolled his eyes at Conan.
"What do you think could happen?"
"I simply wanted to find inspiration in the book and see if I could learn some basics."
"So I just packed it up and brought it over for you."
"Okay." Conan nodded in response and then said, "If you want to come, then come, just don't damage the books."
"Don't worry, it won't break."
After reassuring Conan, Kōyū took the empty lunchbox and left the Kudo residence.
By this time, everyone had finished eating their wontons.
When Ai, who was tidying up, saw Guangyou return, she stopped what she was doing and dried her hands with a towel.
She put on heat-resistant gloves, took out the bowl of wontons that had been kept warm in the pot with hot water, and also took a spoon, and placed them on the table.
"You invite others to eat, but you forget to eat yourself."
Sitting at the table, looking at the bowl of steaming wontons, a warm feeling welled up inside me.
He smiled and said to Ai:
"It's okay, I'm not very hungry."
"You have to eat even if you're not hungry. You don't even pay attention to it," Ai said to Kōyū in a lecturing tone.
"Isn't this what you're here for?" Guangyou scooped up a wonton, blew on it, and put it in his mouth.
"Heh~ It's still a bit hot."
"Eat slowly," Ai said with a hint of helplessness. "No one's going to take it from you."
"Mainly because my cooking is delicious, I can't wait any longer," Guangyou replied, swallowing the wonton in his mouth with a "hissing" sound.
"If you're not worried about getting burned, then continue like this." Ai glanced at Kousuke and then looked away.
She put the heat-resistant gloves she had taken off back in their place and continued washing dishes and tidying up.
Watching her busy in the kitchen while he ate, and recalling their conversation just now, Guangyou had a sense of déjà vu about married life.
"Ai, I need to go out during the day," Kōyū said to Ai after taking a few bites of his wontons.
"Okay, I understand." Ai felt that Kouyu's outing today was related to the thing he was hiding from her, but she still didn't ask.
Even now, Mitsuyu is still unaware that Ai noticed that phone call last night.
After finishing their wontons and helping Ai clean up the kitchen, Guangyou and Ai sat down on the sofa to rest.
Ai has the day off these two days, so there's no need to do any research.
She lay in Guangyou's arms, looking at the latest fashion magazine that had just arrived that morning, and chatting with Guangyou every now and then.
The appointed time had not yet arrived, so Kōyū did not leave, but sat leisurely on the sofa watching Ai.
Although Ai's appearance won't suddenly change from one look to another.
The scenery has never changed, but Guangyou never gets tired of it.
Ai has also gotten used to Kousuke's direct gaze.
When they first got together, she felt very uncomfortable being stared at like that by Guangyou.
It's not that I don't like it, but I'm a little embarrassed.
Now that we've been together for a long time, we've gotten used to it.
Besides being happy, she also wanted Guangyou to only see her this way.
