Looking up and meeting Ai's gaze, Kōyū saw the glistening tears welling up in her eyes, shimmering under the room's light.
He laughed and asked the same question again, adding a few more sentences:
"So now, Ai, are you willing?"
"Would you be willing to leave your name in an important place in my heart during my limited life?"
This sentence seems to possess some kind of special magic.
As soon as she finished speaking, Ai's eyelashes trembled slightly, and a tear that had been welling up in her eye for a long time slid down her cheek.
She pursed her rosy lips, but the corners of her lips still stubbornly turned up.
"why not?"
Her question brought a bright smile to Guangyou's face.
Suppressing the urge to get up and hug Ai, Kōyū took the diamond ring from the box in his hand and placed the box on the ground to the side.
Ai then extended her left hand in front of Kousuke.
After taking her hand, Kōyū, under the joint gaze of him and Ai, placed the dazzling diamond ring on Ai's ring finger.
The ring finger indicates that one is engaged or married.
