This was an answer that Kōyū had expected.
Even so, a smile still appeared on his face.
Knowing this didn't stop him from being happy because of Ai's answer.
After discussing with Kwang-yu whether they missed each other, Ai asked about the real reason for the phone call:
"By the way, Guangyou, what do you think about the timing of that incident between the two of us?"
She was a little embarrassed to say it was the time of the engagement ceremony, so she just gave a vague answer.
"When did that happen?"
Such a vague statement left Guangyou momentarily speechless.
But when he thought about what had happened recently, Kwangyu understood.
He replied to Ai:
"That matter might take a long time, several years at most."
"After all, there are some conditions that haven't been met for us yet, so there's no need to rush things."
Since Ai didn't say it explicitly, he wouldn't say it either.
"Hmm." Ai thought so too; she just came to ask Kyou's opinion.
"Actually, I'm quite looking forward to it." Guangyou thought for a moment, then added, "If you want, it's not impossible to move it forward."
"Ahead of schedule?" Ai asked, somewhat curious.
"Yes," Guangyou replied affirmatively.
He explained it to Ai:
"However, we can only invite a few people who know the inside story."
"For example, my older sister, or that guy Conan."
"If you count them up, besides the two of us, there are only a few others we can invite."
"It doesn't matter." Ai didn't care about this.
Some people care a lot about pomp and circumstance, while others don't care at all.
She is the latter.
The ceremony only requires Guangyou and her sister to be present; the rest are optional.
Whether they're together or not, it won't affect their relationship.
“Besides, that scene might look a bit out of place,” Mitsuyu continued, “after all, we both look quite young right now.”
As he spoke, Kōyū imagined himself and Ai having their engagement ceremony in their current state, and it did indeed seem a bit strange.
"It seems so." Ai imagined the scene and felt the same way.
She asked again:
"So what do you think?"
She doesn't care, anything is fine with her.
It mainly depends on what Guangyou thinks.
"I'm fine with either." Guangyou was also fine with either.
He lay in the bathtub, tilted his head back, looked at the bathroom ceiling, and said:
"Whether it's earlier or a few years later, I'm fine with it."

“A red rose can be pinned to the waist, and a flower made of black lace can be worn in the hair.”
"Shoes..."
"Just a pair of very ordinary black dress shoes, with a black bow at the toe."
"The center of the bow is decorated with light gold."

He explained it in great detail, and Ai could immediately picture it.
To be honest, she was quite interested in the dress that Guangyou described.
It wasn't because it was described by Kwang-yu; he was genuinely interested in the dress itself.
"It sounds pretty good." Ai put aside Mitsuyu's words that "the person has already been decided" and asked curiously, "Did you design it yourself? Or did you see it somewhere?"
"Um..."
After a brief pause, Kousuke said to Ai:
"I think I designed it myself. I saw some things with you before and got some inspiration from them."
"It's pretty good." Ai thought of Kousuke's excellent drawing skills and asked, "Could you draw this dress?"
"Of course."
During the conversation, Guangyou also had an idea:
"I'll draw up the renderings of you wearing the clothes and the design sketches another day."
"I'll find someone to make the clothes later."
"Um."
After discussing the dress, Ai asked Kousuke:
"Let's leave the dress matter at that for now."
"What about that matter?"
She was referring to the engagement ceremony.
Regarding this matter, Guangyou has always had a "whatever" attitude.
If we were to do it in advance, we could only call on Akemi, Shuichi Akai, Kaito Kuroba, Conan, Professor Agasa... those few who knew the truth.
If we look at it ten years from now, we can still invite those classmates and friends they know.
The more lively the scene, the more blessings we'll receive.
However, these are all superficial and not the main factors that led the two to make their choice.
They didn't hold an engagement ceremony for that reason.
After thinking for a few seconds, Kōyū said to Ai:
"Otherwise, after everything is settled, the two of us can call Mingmei, and a few others who know the situation, or just call Mingmei, and go out for a meal."
"Let's make it simple."
"As for the formal one, let's wait a year or two before we take the next step."
What he meant was that the formal engagement ceremony would be held one or two years before the wedding was decided.
This is a win-win solution.
Even though Kōsuke's words were very subtle, Ai still blushed slightly after understanding what he meant.
