Chapter 209 Don't Waste Money

Ruyue Fengshui looked at the wine glass in front of him, then looked up at Guangyou: "I seriously suspect that you are some kind of old monster who has taken some kind of magic pill."

After hearing his words, Guangyou smiled faintly. The two looked at each other for a long time. Guangyou remained calm and composed. Ruyue Fengshui suddenly sighed: "Let me think about it. I'll go and calm down first."

After saying that, he got up and slowly walked outside.

Guangyou wasn't in a hurry. After getting up, he toured the studio with great interest, picked up a drawing board from the side, and placed it on the easel.

Then he walked to the curtains, grabbed one side of the curtains, and waved his hands. Sunlight instantly filled the entire room, and the entire floor-to-ceiling window became like a giant canvas, depicting the famous Mount Fuji.

But on this painting, the twin skyscrapers, like black ink stains, directly cleaved the painting in two. Guangyou frowned. He understood how regrettable this was for an old painter like him, let alone for Kisaragi Hidemizu, a painter who had spent almost his entire life on Mount Fuji.

He turned around and sat down in front of the easel, looking at Mount Fuji in the distance. Kōyū manipulated his brush and painted freely on the paper.

After a long time, Ruyue Fengshui returned. When he saw Guangyou's painting, he suddenly sighed, "I was too limited. Forget it, I'll give up."

In his eyes, Guangyou's paintings may not seem to be very technically sophisticated, but the spirit of daring to break free from limitations is something he lacks.

Guangyou blinked. He was also a little surprised that Ruyue Fengshui agreed so readily. He only painted because he wanted to, since he was free anyway. He didn't expect to achieve his goal by chance.

"Remember to tell Mio later that if possible, I can use the 75th floor as an art studio."

Just as Guangyou was about to step out the door, Ruyue Fengshui's somewhat aged voice rang out. Guangyou nodded and walked straight toward the twin skyscrapers.

...

When Kōyū returned to the office after finishing his business, it was already quite late. He opened the door and saw Inspector Megure and Shiratori sitting on the sofa in the office.

When the group turned around at the sound and saw it was Guangyou, Xiaolan said, "Guangyou's back. I put dinner in the fridge for you. You can heat it up and eat."

Guangyou nodded and thanked them, then walked directly to the refrigerator, took out some rice to heat up, and listened intently to their discussion as he heated it.

The deaths of Hara Yoshiaki and Oki Iwamatsu led the police to suggest to Mio that the opening banquet be postponed on Saturday. However, the police could only make suggestions and could not interfere. Mio still chose to hold the opening banquet on Saturday.

At the same time, Mio also sent out invitations to everyone, with everyone's name on them, including Inspector Megure and the group of kids like Miyu.

After finishing dinner and washing up, Kōyū pretended to lie in bed until everyone else in the office fell asleep. Then, he and Conan quietly got up.

After arriving at Professor Agasa's house, Kousuke went straight into the basement. The basement was still brightly lit, and Ai had unknowingly fallen asleep in front of the computer.

Guangyou gently picked up the girl and placed her on the bed next to the basement. He then covered the sleeping girl with a blanket, sat down at the computer, inserted the CD he had prepared, and ran one of the programs.

Conan asked curiously, "What is this?"

"Interesting stuff." Guangyou chuckled as he connected his mobile phone to the computer, seemingly chewing on something and occasionally blowing a bubble.

After a while, Kousuke made a phone call. Conan watched Kousuke's actions and, although he didn't know what Kousuke was doing, he felt that it was very impressive.

Under Conan's bewildered gaze, Kōyū slowly spoke: "Good evening, little crows. Please allow me to offer you my heartfelt blessings. I wish you all a wonderful time with the little gifts I've prepared."

After saying this, Guangyou didn't hang up the phone. He just smiled and put the receiver to his ear. Then he hung up the phone with some disappointment, seemingly quite unhappy.

Conan then asked, "What were you doing just now?"

"Anti-tracking".

A crisp sound suddenly rang out in the basement. Upon hearing it, Guangyou immediately got up and walked to the source of the sound, giving an awkward laugh: "Did I wake you up?"

Ai shook her head: "I woke up when you hugged me."

As soon as she finished speaking, a blush quickly spread across her face. Guangyou turned off the basement lights so as not to disturb her sleep, and no one else saw this scene.

Hearing this, Kōyū breathed a sigh of relief. He thought he had been too loud. He then looked up and chuckled twice, "I just went to play with Gin and the others. It was a lot of fun."

Meanwhile, in what appears to be an ordinary apartment, two men dressed entirely in black sat silently on a sofa.

One of the men, who looked rather burly, clenched his fist and slammed it hard on the table: "Damn it, he ruined our plans again!"

The other man in black was much calmer than the first. A cold smile appeared on his lips as he looked at a spoof image on the screen. The smile widened as he coldly uttered a few words: "Just you wait, shark. I'll turn you into shark fin soup later."

He then stood up and said to the burly man in black beside him, "Let's go."

"yes."

After the two left, the room fell silent once again. Apart from the slightly warm sofa, which proved that someone had been there, no other traces were left.

Inside the office, Kousuke told Conan what he had done, and Conan couldn't help but chuckle, smiling and saying, "I didn't expect they would actually find out Akemi's previous address."

Kōyū nodded to Conan, then looked at Ai. Ai's face was full of worry, as if she was concerned about something. Seeing her like this, Kōyū understood and comforted her, "Don't worry, no one can find Akemi's address now. Relax."

Ai nodded to Kousuke, but she didn't look like she was truly at ease. Kousuke couldn't do anything about it either; these kinds of psychological problems can only be solved by oneself, and others can only offer help.

Suddenly, Kōyū remembered something, ran out and brought in the things he had bought that morning, and handed them to Ai with some trepidation.

When Ai saw the packaging, she had a guess in her mind. When she opened it, sure enough, the bag that she had casually asked about last time had been bought back by Kōyū.

She then became somewhat angry: "Is it meaningful for you to spend money like this?"

Conan, sensing something was amiss, quietly slipped out the door. Kōyū, somewhat bewildered, stammered, "I..."

Seeing Guangyou's somewhat aggrieved expression, Ai realized she had gotten a little agitated and said softly, "Don't waste money like that."
