"You don't know anything!"
Tsunashima raised his head and shouted to Tosabayashi, "The dogs I keep are all mixed-breed dogs that no one wants. I can't sell them, and no one wants them even if I give them away. How can I bear to see them wandering the streets?"
"I'm sorry, I had a moment of evil thought." Tsunashima sighed, turned and walked towards the door. "I will turn myself in."
"Mr. Tsunashima, please take it."
Gana suddenly spoke up, handing the gem to Tsunajima and saying with a smile, "The purpose was originally to let you choose what you wanted, you could have just said so."
“But…” Tsunashima stared blankly at the gem so close to his eyes, and did not reach out his hand.
“It’s alright. This gem isn’t for you, it’s for your lovely dogs. Besides, it would be more meaningful for you,” Ghana explained with a smile. “My grandfather would be very pleased to do this.”
Ghana's smiling face brought tears to the eyes of the middle-aged man, Tsunajima, and large tears streamed down his cheeks.
After seeing Tsunashima off, Ai said to Kouyu, "Kouyu, why don't you go help those dogs later?"
"Okay, I'll have someone make some contact later. If it's possible, I can pay to raise those dogs." Guangyou nodded and readily agreed.
It's not that he's faking it; the monthly profit of Lavender Bar is quite substantial now, enough to support a few dogs.
"But I still don't quite understand why Miss Renki's shoes were placed in front of the incinerator?" Professor Agasa pondered, rubbing his chin. Now that he knew the truth, he just didn't know why those shoes were there.
Conan paused for a moment, then suddenly laughed and said, "I think it must be Arthur who did it."
After placing Shino's shoes in the entryway, Conan led everyone to the corner of the hallway in front of the entryway, pointed to the entryway, and gestured for everyone to secretly watch the entryway.
Not long after, Arthur quietly walked to the entrance, sniffed the shoes, and then picked up Shino's shoes and headed out the door.
"Arthur!"
Ghana's voice rang out at just the right moment.
Seeing his master's slightly angry face, Arthur lowered his head and drooped his ears, looking like he had been wronged.
"Did you hear that, Arthur!"
Arthur suddenly jumped onto the entrance, bypassed Gana, and hid behind Ai. He peeked his head out from behind Ai, seemingly to see if his master had calmed down.
"Arthur, does this mean you hate me?" Shino bent down and looked at the listless Arthur, asking with some concern.
Guangyou waved his hand and said, "How could that be? It's just that Arthur doesn't want you to leave because he thinks you can't go out without shoes, so he can play with his Christie all the time."
Shino hesitated for a moment, then blushed and patted Arthur's head: "Don't worry, Arthur, Christie and I are going to London with your master too."
"Eh! So you are!" Ghana's face flushed, and he was so excited that he could hardly speak.
"Yes, actually I came here today specifically to reply to you about this." Shino blushed as she looked at Kano, who was also blushing.
Tosabayashi blinked: "You two aren't really getting married, are you?"
Upon hearing this, Dr. Agasa smiled and said, "Not bad at all. Congratulations to you two newlyweds! You're a perfect match, and your grandfather will be very pleased."
Ghana could only smile sheepishly at this.
"We should have a proper celebration before moving," Professor Agasa said to the two of them.
Arthur wagged its tail and looked at its owner. Although it didn't know what to say, it felt like something good was going on.
Ai bent down and stroked Arthur's soft fur, a smile always on her delicate face.
Guangyou squatted down and asked, "Are you really not going to keep one?"
"Let's get a dog after everything's settled. If anything goes wrong, the dog is innocent," Ai replied.
"All right."
Since Ai had already said so, Kousuke could only nod.
"Then I'll show you all my skills tonight." Shino's blush had faded a bit, and he rolled up his sleeves and smiled at everyone. "I'll cook a meal for you all tonight."
"No need to trouble you two newcomers, let this child do it." Professor Agasa nudged the bewildered Kouyu. "This child's cooking is quite good."
“That’s not a good idea, he’s just a child.” Ghana frowned.
Just as Kōyū was about to leave, Conan and Ai pushed him forward, so he could only put on a smiling face and say, "I'll do it, don't worry."
"Okay, if all else fails, let's go out to eat." Ghana scratched his head and had no choice but to agree, though he was a little worried.
Guangyou patted his chest and said confidently, "Leave it to me, it won't kill anyone."
"...."
In the end, Kōyū was allowed to cook, while the rest of the group chatted in the living room. Ayumi was particularly interested in the love story between Kana and Shino.
At first, Kana was unwilling, mostly because he was shy, but in the end, he slowly recalled how he and Shino got to know each other and fell in love.
“I originally had to live in England for work, so I mustered up the courage to tell Shino that day.” Kano held Shino’s slender hand. “I originally thought I would fail and go to England with regrets, but I never expected this.”
Meanwhile, Guangyou looked at the somewhat empty refrigerator and shook his head: "Even a handsome guy can't cook without rice."
However, he still had some basic ingredients, so it wasn't too much of a problem for Guangyou. Humming an unknown tune, Guangyou tied on his apron and started cooking.
