Just as Kōyū and Heiji were enjoying their meal, seven or eight people rushed towards the stall.
At the very front was a girl with light purple hair, exaggerated makeup, and an earring.
Guangyou immediately recognized it as the legendary bamboo arrowhead from the Jiangluo Minxian.
The people behind the girl were about the same size, but they looked a little older than her.
The heavy makeup made it difficult for Guangyou to judge the girl's age, but he could tell the age of the others more clearly.
One of them, around seventeen or eighteen years old, walked to the very side, followed slightly by another who was about twenty-one or twenty-two. The rest were around that age, with the youngest being the seventeen or eighteen-year-old.
The girl walked at the front, her movements somewhat restrained, completely at odds with her flamboyant makeup. She timidly lowered her head, taking very small steps.
The moment the shopkeeper saw the girl, he rushed over, his smile vanishing instantly, replaced by a reproachful look: "Yuko, why are you like this again? Go back and wash it off!"
Upon hearing this, the girl called Yuko felt a strange sense of irritation.
Just as he was about to shake off her hand, he suddenly remembered something and whispered, "I think I've gotten myself into trouble."
Upon hearing that his daughter seemed to have gotten into trouble, the boss immediately looked up at the group of men with ill intentions and shielded his daughter behind him.
What do you want?
Guangyou had expected some silly, rascal-like conversation, but the men actually spoke very politely.
"Hello, your daughter owes a debt of 500,000 yen, and the deadline is approaching. We are here to collect the debt."
"How much? Five hundred thousand?"
The boss turned and glanced at Yuko, who knew she had done something wrong and nodded her head.
"What exactly happened?"
The boss turned his head and asked.
Yuko stammered but still managed to explain the whole process.
In short, Yuko had a few drinks while hanging out with her classmates at a bar, and in her hazy state, she found herself signing this loan agreement.
After hearing what had happened, the boss was also somewhat angry about what his daughter had done.
However, I'm also somewhat relieved. I don't need to go into too much detail about what might happen when a girl gets drunk in a bar; it's already lucky that she wasn't assaulted.
The customers present all witnessed what happened, but most of them remained indifferent, as if it were none of their business.
One of the boys seemed somewhat tempted, but seeing so many people on the other side, he forcefully suppressed his urge to play the hero and save Matt.
Heiji frowned slightly, and without much thought, he got up and walked to the boss's side, saying, "Uncle, leave this to me."
The boss glanced at Heiji, feeling somewhat touched that someone was helping him, but still considering Heiji's feelings, he said, "Heiji, you'd better not get involved, lest you cause trouble."
Heiji turned around and smiled: "Uncle, have you forgotten what my family does?"
The boss then remembered that Heiji's family were police officers, which was not only the reason why they had come so many times, but also because of Heiji's reputation in Kansai.
People in Osaka have more or less heard of Hattori Heiji's name, or heard others mention it.
Heiji turned to the group and said, "May I see the contract?"
When the leader of the other party saw that someone was helping him, a fierce glint flashed in his eyes, but he still wore a friendly smile and took the contract handed to him by the person next to him and passed it on to Heiji.
After a cursory glance, Heiji concluded that the contract was a scam to fool outsiders, and even he could see through the trap.
Moreover, Yuko is not yet an adult. As far as he knows, Yuko is only seventeen years old this year, and she still has three years until she becomes an adult.
"This contract doesn't seem to be working, does it? She's only seventeen." Heiji said calmly.
The leader was a young man of about twenty-three years old, wearing glasses and looking very refined.
The young man stopped the younger man behind him who was about to say something, then adjusted his glasses and asked, "What's your name?"
His calm tone, however, revealed a hint of vengeance.
"Hattori Heiji, my father is Hattori Heizo."
These few words put immense pressure on the young man; how could he not know that the head of the Osaka Prefectural Police Headquarters was the one he was talking about?
The scene was quite awkward for a moment. After a brief silence, the young man spoke first: "I understand. I apologize for the disturbance. It was my subordinate's mistake."
Then he turned around and left with his men.
He hadn't expected that after finally managing to scam someone, he would run into a big shot.
Fortunately, he wasn't so arrogant as to come over and demand an explanation.
Thinking of this, he couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
After watching the group leave, Heiji turned around and said to Yuko, who was hiding behind the boss, "Go back and change your clothes. What do you look like now? You look neither human nor ghost."
"kindness..."
Yuko gave a hesitant reply.
Heiji nodded and returned to his seat, then continued eating with Kōyū.
Kōyū glanced at Yūko, who was sitting in a chair in the distance, secretly watching Heiji, and his face was full of smiles.
"Heiji, I think Kazuha is going to get jealous again."
"Why?"
Heiji was completely unaware that something was wrong. He continued eating his food and glanced at Kōyū with a puzzled look.
Following Kōyū's gaze, Heiji turned around and glanced back, only to miss the moment when Yūko looked at him.
He saw the boss scolding Yuko, frowned, turned around and said, "It's nothing, isn't this normal?"
Guangyou smiled and nodded, agreeing, "Yes, yes, that's normal."
